Senior Solution Architect - SAP IBP & APO Supply Planning (m/f/d)

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization
Design and communicate high-level structures to enable and guide the development of integrated solutions that meet current and future business needs. This includes technology components as well as changes to service, process, organization, and operating models. Provide comprehensive guidance on solution components to ensure alignment with architectures, strategies, policies, standards, and practices (including security).
Key Responsibilities
- Specialist Advice: Maintain expert-level knowledge in supply chain planning technologies and provide definitive guidance.
- Solution Architecture: Develop architectures for SAP APO Supply Planning, SAP IBP (including RESPONSE), and integration with S/4HANA.
- Technical Expertise:
- CTM Planning Engine and attribute-based planning
- IBP and S/4 integration
- ABAP programming and database design
- Systems & Software Design: Create detailed specifications for cloud-based or on-premises components, ensuring scalability and security.
- Programming & Development: Design, code, and test complex programs/scripts and integration services.
- Data Modelling & Database Design: Apply advanced data analysis and modelling techniques to maintain robust data structures.
- Emerging Technology Monitoring: Assess new technologies and contribute to technology roadmaps.
- Relationship Management: Communicate effectively with stakeholders and manage expectations across global teams.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Deep technical expertise in SAP APO, SAP IBP (RESPONSE), and integration with S/4HANA.
- Hands-on experience with ABAP development and database technologies.
- Knowledge of CTM Planning Engine and attribute-based planning.
- Ability to balance technical depth with business understanding.
Requisite Education and Experience
- Four-year degree in Business Administration, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 7 years in IT, with at least 5 years in supply chain planning technologies.
- Experience in team management and global project delivery.
- Proficient in English (spoken and written).
