Senior Specialist Credit (m/f/d)
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
Credit Management (CM) manages credit risk and receivables in line with the sales strategy and the financial framework conditions. CM contributes to improving the company's profitability and liquidity and, hence, to a sustainable increase in company values. The main tasks are managing and monitoring credit risks to reduce bad debt losses and monitoring and minimizing late payments while supporting the achievement of sales and market strategy targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Credit Risk Management
- Conduct credit assessments and financial analyses of customers
- Monitor credit limits in line with company policy
- Perform regular and ad-hoc credit reviews
- Identify potential risks and recommend mitigation actions
- Support with the external rating agency
- Accounts Receivable Management
- Ensure the accuracy of existing Customer Data
- Monitor outstanding receivables and ensure timely payments
- Analyze payment bahavior and initiate escalation processes when required
- Collaborate with collection agencies, legal partners, and external stakeholders

- Building relationships with Customers, organizing internal and external meetings
- Deductions / Claims Management
- Drive actions (Sales/GBS/Finance/Accounts Operations) to reduce the claims volume
- Manage new customer setup and data changes
- Support for Market Credit Manager
- Coordinate with GBS Credit teams on market priorities and operations, providing support and guidance in alignment with the Market Credit Manager
- Follow up on Market requests to GBS
- Follow up on all requests through to conclusion
- Support on Market and GBS meetings
- Supporting ad-hoc projects as key-user / representing the Market
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
- Support in Forecasts / Bad Debt Calculations / Submissions
Authorities:
- Changes in CM within the terms of the current Credit Policy and/or as instructed by the Credit Lead

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Advanced analytical and organizational skills
- Solid knowledge of Accounts Receivable
- Knowledge of applicable bankruptcy laws
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Customer orientation and ability to work with cross-functional teams
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- Degree in business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Minimum of 1-year working experience in Risk Management / Credit
Management / Finance respective area
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- SAP knowledge is a must
- Fluency in German and English language (both written and oral)
