Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:

Workplaces is responsible for the active management of the Global Real Estate Portfolio including leases and transactions of all the properties, all design, construction and operations for offices, showrooms and DC’s for adidas. 

Within Workplace Management, Multimedia & Events, this role acts as the senior technical expert for workplace multimedia projects, integrations and AV commissioning in Germany. The position ensures that multimedia solutions are commissioned, validated, documented and handed over according to adidas quality, supportability and operational readiness standards. It provides advanced expertise for meeting rooms, executive spaces, event venues, broadcast environments, LED systems, media servers, collaboration technologies, showrooms, digital signage and workplace multimedia infrastructure.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical implementation activities for multimedia projects, workplace technology initiatives and venue upgrades.
  • Act as the AV and Multimedia Commissioning Expert for workplace multimedia projects, event venues, executive environments and collaboration spaces.
  • Support thecommissioning strategies, commissioning plans and validation procedures for AV and multimedia systems.
  • Take care of factory acceptance testing, site acceptance testing, integrated systems testing and operational readiness reviews.
  • Verify system functionality, interoperability, control logic, monitoring capability, documentation completeness and serviceability before operational acceptance.
  • Drive technical issue resolution during commissioning and coordinate corrective actions with vendors, planners, integrators and technical stakeholders.
  • Coordinate technical project activities with planners, integrators, vendors, Tech teams, Operations, Event Services and workplace stakeholders.
  • Ensure technical documentation, as-built documentation, asset information and handover packages meet workplace standards.
  • Partner with Operations and Event Services to validate supportability, monitoring requirements, lifecycle expectations, maintainability and experience readiness before go-live.
  • Supports Project Delivery Technicians and support technical knowledge transfer across the future Multimedia & Events organization

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Good understanding of workplace multimedia, AV, collaboration and integration technologies.
  • Expert knowledge of AV commissioning methodologies, commissioning governance and quality assurance processes.
  • Deep understanding of FAT, SAT, integrated systems testing, user acceptance testing and operational readiness validation.
  • Strong expertise in troubleshooting complex integrated AV and multimedia systems.
  • Experience commissioning LED systems, media servers, DSP platforms, control systems, Microsoft Teams Rooms environments, digital signage and large-scale corporate event venues.
  • Strong project delivery, technical integration, stakeholder coordination and vendor management capability.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication, documentation, quality assurance and governance mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple technical workstreams and translate business requirements into stable technical solutions.
  • Fluent in English and German

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • Degree, vocational qualification or equivalent professional experience in Media Technology, AV Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering or related field
  • More than 3 years of professional experience in the multimedia field.
  • Experience with enterprise AV systems, meeting room technologies, LED solutions, collaboration platforms and workplace technology environments.
  • Experience working with consultants, planners, integrators and technology vendors.
  • Experience leading or supporting commissioning, acceptance, technical validation and operational handover activities.
