Assistant Manager, Franchise operation

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

Strategically partnering with customers to drive FRS stores operation performance by ensuring proper execution of established policies, procedures, initiatives and directives from adidas Global and sustaining daily store operation excellence

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Functional

  • Drive commercial success of the stores by ensuring proper execution of established policies, procedures, initiatives and directives
  • Coaching Store Managers on retail management standards and drive a service and selling culture
  • Drive sell through, monitor FRS store performance KPIs and align sell-out process across internal functions
  • Analyze relevant data to probe and challenge the status quo with key account manager, Marketing, trainers, and Customer to maximize store performance
  • Plan and prioritize structured store visits to maximize the FRS’s performance
  • Spend focused time on the sales floor during store visits to determine service improvement opportunities and to coach the FRS Store Managers/ supervisors to increase their stores’ performance
  • Ensure compliance with established retail policies, operating procedures, initiatives and directives through store audits
  • Drive cross-functional alignment with Own Retail, Marketing, and other departments to ensure excellent execution of the Franchise stores
  • Be a Brand Ambassador, consistently exhibiting the Brand Attitude and Values
  • Ensure proper in-store Brand execution according to established standards and directives in all stores (category leading, campaign execution, visual merchandizing standard, etc..)
  • Facilitate the effective and timely delivery and execution of Foundational and Seasonal Brand and product training materials in the stores
  • Assess and make recommendations to improve the commercial viability and availability of products for the FRS stores
  • Support the management of the store portfolio in the Market, including opening/closing and remodels
  • Support the opening process for new stores, including new store location proposals, official sign-offs, and managing the operational processes related to the store opening (store development, layout planning, marketing, etc)
  • Customizing the E2E people process and driving the implementation to ensure the recruitment, on-boarding, training and development of FRS staffs meeting adidas ORT expectations
  • Coach, motivate and inspire FRS operation staffs to accomplish their goals and maximize their individual performance, both face-to-face and remotely

 

Controlling

  • To drive franchisee sell out KPIs:- CR, UPT, ATV, ASP, etc..

 

 

Pre-requisite Knowledge / Skills

Diploma/Degree in Sales / Marketing / Retail Management

Minimum 5 years of retail management experience with at least 4 years in operations, preferable experience in the sport or clothing industry

PC literature, excellent oral and written communication skills in English and local languages

Strong in organizational skills, meticulous and a team player with ability to work independently

Able to multi-task

Good interpersonal and communication skills and self-confident in interacting with all levels within and outside the organization

Mature, dedicated, resourceful and committed towards works, employees and consumers
