Manager, Footwear Costing (6-month contract)
Purpose:
A key player in Global Sourcing in driving Sourcing’s vision to be the Most Agile, Most Competitive, Most Digitalized & Cleanest Supply Base in the industry. Manage costing performance of the Sourcing Liaison Offices (LO) through implementation of Sourcing Costing strategies, policies, processes, systems, and standards, assuring company go-in margin targets are met and optimizing landed costs through a clear understanding of economic trends and trade opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect relevant data/information for selected products/ranges or categories for projects as well as participating as project members in projects.
- Leverage data analytics skills and manufacturing process knowledge to analyze and interpret data, supporting the continuous improvement initiative.
- Collaborate closely with E&MI, Costing Development, Materials, Chemical Engineering, and other key functions across LO and respective factories to ensure that the end goal is achieved.

- External stakeholder: Tier 1 Costing
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong analytical and systematic approach to consolidate and communicate information
- Good presentation, negotiation, influencing, people, and communication skills
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Product Data Management (PDM) systems
- Proficient in data analysis using advanced Excel, Power BI, and SQL
- Strong collaboration and communication skills across functions and stakeholders
- Having a chemical engineering background is a plus
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- University degree, or technical degree in apparel, footwear, or manufacturing
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in the apparel & footwear industry with costing responsibility
- Commitment for 6-month employment contract
