Senior Designer Apparels (CCV)
PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANISATION
Manage and execute Lifestyle and SEA apparel creation in Asia, implementing strategic alignment according to the overall Business Unit and Brand direction.
Develop industry-leading creative solutions for assigned concepts or categories to create a highly relevant, desirable, and clear adidas brand image, from sell-in to sellout (consumer-facing). Focus on Inline, Speed & Rapid Creation opportunities to align with customer behavior and market trends. Leverage factory proximity to optimize processes. Collaborate on technical aspects, materials, and speed to market, driving efficiency and margins. Manage projects and cross-functional interactions with HQ Design, Product Marketing, PD&S, T1 & T2 ensuring strategic alignment and effective implementation. While delivering the implementation of a carryover strategy for Lifestyle.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Change agent /management: Be an integral part of a team that will continue to evaluate and evolve the end-to-end process for the apparel co-creation operating model, emphasizing strong partnerships and collaboration with suppliers. Pilot new ways of working, ensuring seamless integration and optimization of processes to enhance speed, efficiency, and product value.
- Take technical ownership after customer and design approval, managing product execution through commercialization while safeguarding design intent, fit, quality, cost and delivery timelines.
- Create and maintain CLO 3D assets for end-to-end speed ranges serving SEA markets, including garment construction, fit, graphic and trim execution where applicable.
- Innovates and drives cross category product constructions, tech lifestyle, comfort, contemporary lifestyle and performance executions and solutions.
- Research and recommend technical, material and construction options that deliver the required price/value while maintaining the core product brief and applying relevant learning from previous collections.
- Partner with T1 and T2 suppliers to improve construction, fit, material localization, pricing, quality and speed to market; contribute to a best-in-class material and technical toolbox.
- Coordinate technical meetings and working sessions with HQ and supplier partners, ensuring clear agendas, decisions, actions, timelines and resolution of roadblocks.
- Use allocation blueprints and proven best practices to support material and design innovation while contributing to gross-margin and profitability objectives.
- Maintain technical tools, range plans and product overviews throughout the creation process and communicate changes promptly to all partners.
- Ensure technical and product milestones are achieved within fast-paced creation calendars and establish improved working practices that advance delivery.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Strong knowledge of apparel technical design, garment construction, fit, pattern, materials and trims.
- Ability to translate creative direction into clear, accurate and commercially viable technical solutions.
- Strong visual, verbal, presentation and cross-functional communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving, organization and milestone-management capability in a fast-paced creation environment.
- Practical understanding of product development, commercialization, costing, quality and supplier manufacturing processes.
- Consumer and market awareness, with the ability to apply insights to Local relevant packages.
- Proficiency in Copilot, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and relevant graphic or technical design software.
- Strong 3D skills and knowledge of virtual product-creation tools.
- Excellent English, written and spoken.
- APP tools: Adobe Illustrator, CLO 3D, Browzwear, VStitcher or similar 3D fashion design tools
REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Undergraduate-level Design education or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- At least 3–5 years’ experience in the Sporting Goods, Fashion or Design industry at managerial level.
- Proven experience across the entire design process, including project scope and time planning, design development, production and execution of design solutions, and pre-press processes.
