Manager Workplace Management

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

Workplaces is responsible for the active management of the Global Real Estate Portfolio including leases and transactions of all the properties, all design, construction and facilities operations for offices, showrooms and DC’s for adidas.

In this role, you are responsible for leading Facilities & Services (F&S) operations across the Israel market, covering both the corporate office and retail stores. You ensure high-quality, efficient and compliant workplace operations, while acting as the local Health & Safety (H&S) representative in alignment with global HSEE strategy.

 

This role is accountable for delivering operational excellence through vendor management, budget ownership and stakeholder engagement, while ensuring compliance with local regulations and alignment with company Workplaces and HSEE standards.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help shaping the future of Workplaces for the Israel office and create a sustainable foundation
  • Manage small-medium workplace/FM projects that require analysis and autonomous initiative through professional experience
  • Support the delivery of larger Workplaces design, construction or facility projects
  • Support the space management for best allocation and utilisation of space and resources for new buildings, or reorganisation of current premises
  • Plan, organise and monitor assigned operational processes. Ensure all service-related qualities, policies, standards and processes to achieve maximum customer satisfaction
  • Assist in all tasks related to manage the property portfolio
  • Internal and external communication (customers, service providers, suppliers)
  • Steer, coordinate and manage all assigned services
  • Manage and execute Facilities Management for all own retail stores, including maintenance and service delivery, in alignment with business needs and company standards
  • Interface between adidas and assigned external service providers
  • Develop and optimise external assigned services
  • Manage workplace culture and engagement initiatives within the office environment, fostering a sense of belonging and connection in partnership with HR and business stakeholders
  • Contribute to planning and design of new facilities and respective equipment
  • Own budget planning and control, including defining, managing and submitting Workplace Management budget requirements in alignment with business needs and financial processes
  • Lead and further develop assigned employees
  • Ensuring operator’s responsibility and employer obligations with regards to occupational health and safety, acting as the local H&S representative for the country, in accordance with applicable laws and guidelines, and minimizing possible risks
  • Lead and coordinate local H&S processes including incident reporting and investigation support, risk assessments, employee training, coordination with external authorities, advising on applicable legal and regulatory requirements (including hazardous substances), and supporting the implementation and continuation of the occupational health and safety management system (e.g. ISO 45001)
  • Implement and ensure compliance to Workplaces policies, HSEE requirements and project management standards

Requisite Education / Minimum Qualifications:

  • Completed vocational training, studies or equivalent education
  • Appropriate qualification in Facilities Management
  • Appropriate qualification in HSE Management e.g. Occupational Safety Specialist
  • Minimum 5 years working experience in respective area and experience at a similar level in a complex organisation
