Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

 

This role is responsible for maximizing the sales, profitability, and brand equity through the management and execution of:

  • Build, enhance, and create merchandise reports to support the Buying & Trading Manager on Intake, Sales & Product Information as well as own planning & allocation responsibilities.
  • In-season article reporting and trading to ensure category and product performance meets expectations via a suite of KPIs and tools.
  • Pre-season planning support to Buying & Trading Manager.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the execution of product and assortment strategy to achieve company eCommerce and concept store targets.
  • Manage and monitor sales plans versus actuals to provide recommendations and insights on article-level performance for business decisions.
  • Track, analyze, interpret, and provide recommendations based on key merchandising KPIs.
  • Analyze routine sales and stock data, maintaining detailed and accurate reports.
  • Own the in-season replenishment process for the channels.
  • Allocate products to channels as planned in pre-season buying.
  • Execute stock re-allocation and consolidation between channels as required.
  • Apply effective strategies to ensure optimal channel stock control.
  • Facilitate and provide reports and information daily.
  • Assist with seasonal product ranging.
  • Work proactively to propose changes and identify opportunities to continually drive a best-in-class experience for the adidas consumer.

  • Fluent in English
  • Advanced user of MS Office suite of products – esp. Excel, Access, PPT
  • Dashboarding/Data Visualization experience a plus 

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • University degree, ideally in business with sales focus or equivalent professional experience.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in merchandising or related functions (incl. buying, planning, distribution, budgeting).
  • eCommerce or retail experience a plus.
  • Fluent in English
