Senior Payroll Specialist
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
Responsible for end-to-end payroll and HR administration activities for adidas Israel. Ensure accurate, compliant and timely payroll processing in accordance with local legislation and global company guidelines, while supporting rewards and HR operational processes at country level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the end-to-end monthly payroll process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance with Israeli labor law and statutory requirements
- Maintain and manage payroll systems and employee master data
- Ensure all employment documentation and forms are completed, updated and maintained in accordance with local legislation and internal policies
- Collect, validate and process all payroll inputs, including attendance, absences, bonuses and benefits
- Calculate and generate monthly salaries and payslips for all employees
- Manage and administer employee social benefits and statutory benefits in coordination with HR
- Handle ongoing communication and reporting with social insurance institutes and tax authorities
- Prepare and generate payroll reports in line with monthly payroll checklists and internal controls
- Ensure payroll practices comply with corporate governance, audit requirements and internal controls
- Serve as the owner of time & attendance controlling, monitoring and reporting
- Provide professional guidance to employees, managers and HR on payroll, compensation and employment regulations
- Support Finance and Accounting teams with payroll-related data and reconciliations
- Maintain complete, accurate and compliant employee personnel files
- Participate in and lead HR and payroll-related projects as assigned by the HR Director

Internal: Employees, HR Team, Retail Operations, Finance, Office Management
External: Payroll vendors, tax authorities, social insurance institutes (as relevant)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills, with strong Excel capabilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across all organizational levels
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Ability to work independently, take ownership and make decisions with limited supervision
- High attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality
- Strong ethical standards and integrity
- Fluent Hebrew and strong written and spoken English
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- Professional diploma or course in payroll and rewards
- Minimum 4 years of payroll experience
