Operations Associate II - Inventory Control

Purpose: This person is responsible for the daily monitoring, tracking and processing of inventory issues as it relates to the inbound, outbound and MFG departments. This person will take direction from their supervisor and work to resolve or process any inventory related issues on a daily basis.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Audit departmental inventory control procedures to ensure compliance

• Cycle Counting, BTS of goods, deprofiling and reprofiling

• Perform inventory adjustments to include: cycle counting, invalid LPs, short/zero picks, mis marked containers and makeups

• Research within the Warehouse Management System information that can be used by supervisory personnel to derive root cause analysis and formulate a corrective action plan recommendation

• Establish a rapport with other departments ensuring a cohesive working “team” environment and be able to assist with inventory needs

• Movement of boxes needed by wave planning

• Makeup ordering and tracking

• FWP, MFG, VAS and Forklift teams

 

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

• Must have good written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to communicate both verbally and written in English

• Must have intermediate level computer skills

• Must be able to work weekends and a flexible schedule

• Must be able to walk extended distances, repeatedly lift up to 30-50lbs, work up to 12 hours per day, negotiate stairs, handle pallet jack or rolling cart, handle and operate RF equipment

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

• HS Diploma or GED equivalent

• Minimum of 2 years experience within a distribution center or one year previous inventory control experience or associate degree

• Required to speak, read, write and comprehend the English language
