Quality Inspector II
Purpose: The Quality Inspector II is an experienced role responsible for conducting quality audits within the Quality Department. This position requires mastery of multiple inspection areas, such as inbound receipts, in‑process audits, and outbound inspections. The Quality Inspector II is fully trained in their primary inspection function and is capable of training others to meet established adidas quality assurance standards.This role requires strong knowledge of leagues, teams, colors, fabrics, garment specifications, embellishment types, applicable computer systems, and the majority of facility processes. It is not an entry‑level role and requires the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently perform multiple inspection processes, with training completed in a third inspection area.
- Apply strong attention to detail and a full understanding of inspection procedures to ensure accuracy in all assigned tasks.
- Work on assigned projects and, once trained, complete tasks with minimal supervision.
- Participate as a collaborative team member; ask clarifying questions and communicate any gaps in understanding.
- Ensure all work is performed accurately and on time, including both manual and system‑generated documentation.
- Communicate regularly with the Quality Lead and partner on projects assigned by the Quality Specialist, Lead, Supervisor, or Manager.
- Receive training on new operations using TWI (Training Within Industry) methodology.
- Demonstrate reliability, urgency, and sound judgment at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Competent computer skills using the internet, Windows, Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and navigating adidas systems
- Ability to read, write, count and distinguish colors
- Ability to use equipment, including but not limited to box knife, RF scanner, manual and powered equipment
- Basic math skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work overtime as needed
Essential Functions:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to:
- work in a warehouse environment with noise, dust and varying temperatures
- regularly required to talk, hear; sit, stand and/or walk; use fingers, hands, arms and feet to feel, handle, grip, grasp, lift, operate, push, pull, bend, and/or twist for up to twelve (12) hours/day
- occasionally required to climb, stoop, kneel and/or crouch
- occasionally lift and carry items such as boxes weighing up to fifty (50) pounds
- work safely on elevated surfaces (2nd level mezzanine)
- able to reliably attend work/scheduled hours
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- Required to speak, read, write and comprehend the English language
