Purpose:
- Implementing the correct inbound flow from the vendors/CBW in order to ensure availability of demanded products from all market considering the OTIF target of the group and the inbound activities related cost efficiency
- The Order Fulfillment Manager assumes the responsibility for creating on time availability for our customers by coordinating / matching supply and demand within the supply chain and ensuring that stock levels across Market are according with the demand and assumes the responsibility for implementing strategies with successful stock turn reduction across adidas TR.
- Enables Markets in meeting their financial and operational objectives while supporting Market commercial strategies, optimizing supply for given region and continuously improving operational performance through driving end-to-end supply chain integration with areas and global functions.
- Take up and manage projects to improve supply chain processes and infrastructure in line with strategic goals. Communicate progress, updates and activities with project team, stakeholders and SCM Snr. Director.
- Review existing processes on Country level. Discuss recommended improvements with stakeholders and implement agreed changes.
- Increase transparency in all parts of the supply chain by creating seasonal / monthly reports, analyzing data and discussing results with organizations.
- Prepare and conduct presentations for and to management team.
- Actively lead SCM function in cross-functional projects like SAP and directly manage SCM projects within TR.
- Assume the change management role for the transition process to SAP with a focus on cross-functional integration and change management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead S&OP Calendar & Process in TR.
- Ensuring on time loading and delivery of the ex-factory product by taking account of the cost efficiency.
- Preparing by weekly rolling summary report to SCM Director. In case of a delay, develop and apply solutions to accelerate delivery process by considering the priority and cost of the product.
- Coordinating foreign trade activities in order to be accurate and on time with the appropriate cost efficiency.
- Overall responsibility for availability (supply) and fulfillment (shipment ex warehouse according to sales order dates) in day to day business for TR.
- Matching as well as ensuring of OTIF execution of customer deliveries against commercial requirements and commercial prioritization for deliveries to TR Markets and roll out of tools and principles.
- Leading of 100% meetings in order to identify critical supply chain constraints and determine actions to overcome problems with respect to supply of critical products (products with confirmed customer date, strategic products, products for Marketing campaigns / launches)
- Decide in collaboration with Markets, Retail and Clearance Management about order book deliveries to steer month end target achievement by controlling inventory in a shared inventory pool for all stakeholders.
- Design, structure and implement tactical solution of the Market business model to enable enhanced availability by reduced inventory and cost
- The network relates to the key interface, local Sales Department, Local Logistics Department in Markets, with all related parties and the purchasing team and streamlining of communication process with the different stakeholders.
- Upon request participation in area or Market projects with the goal to represent the order book management requirements and leading projects to increase OTIF and inventory efficiency across adidas Group.
Requisite Education and Experience:
- A four-year degree from an accredited college or university degree with emphasis on the area of finance, business, logistics, planning, Supply Chain, information systems, or operations
- 7-8 years of experience working in a supply chain environment
- Management experience for at least 4 years
- Fluent in English (oral and in writing)
- Deep understanding and management experience in operational supply chain process environment, understanding business requirements and capabilities needed
- Good SAP expertise
- High degree of self-motivation and self-management
- Strong analytical skills
- Operations as well as commercial mindset
- Demonstrating initiative and acting result oriented
- Ability to accept and meet critical deadlines with good planning and organization skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively and efficiently on different layers of the organization
- Competent user in Microsoft Office applications
