Director, Materials Operations
PURPOSE
Key player in driving our vision to be the Most Agile, Most Competitive, Most Digitalized & Cleanest Supply Base in the industry. Lead Materials Operations activity in assigned region(s) and ensure strategic and tactical objectives are met. Establish and grow strategic relationships with Tier 2 (materials/fabrics/etc.) and Tier 3 (yarns/chemicals/etc..) vendors. Inspire, lead and develop a diverse, world class materials team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Secure company targets by driving T2 performance and compliance in line with sourcing strategy.
• Ensure effective implementation of materials strategy and sourcing priorities.
• Develop supplier capacities and capabilities in line with strategic direction.
• Identify potential supply bottlenecks and actively guide mitigation efforts.
• Promote collaborative culture through continuous sharing and exchange among internal and external stakeholders.
• Support product and manufacturing innovation pilots at select T2s.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives and drive assigned projects as needed.
• Role model brand values and foster a culture of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
• Team: develop and coach team members, identify and grow key talent, build and establish succession plans.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across functions and regions.

• Strong business acumen; problem solving, analytical and negotiation skills.
• Experience translating strategic direction into operational actions and results.
• Proven track record identifying and developing talent.
• Possess growth mindset and ability to challenge the status quo.
• Proficient in Microsoft office, Analytics and ERP/MRP a plus.
• Fluent in English communication, knowledge of another language (Mandarin, Vietnamese, Bahasa, or German) an advantage.
REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• University degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Textile Technology or Business Management is preferred.
• Minimum 7~10 years progressive work experience in multinational environment.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in Sourcing, Materials, Product Creation or another related field.
• 3+ years of people management experience with large diverse teams.
• Experience in project management a plus.
