Manager, Accounting
PURPOSE
Manages the end to end financial and accounting operations and maintain effective internal control procedures of the Representative Office. Ensures compliance of accounting, reporting and budgetary control and operating expense forecasting according to company's established principles and policies, oversees cash management activities and with good maintenance of domestic bank accounts. Assists the Chief Representative to ensure compliance of local laws and regulations including but not limited to financial and accounting activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages the end to end financial and accounting operations and maintain effective internal control procedures of the Representative Office.
- Ensures compliance of accounting, reporting and budgetary control and operating expense forecasting according to company established principles and policies, and prevailing regulations, oversees cash management activities and with good maintenance of domestic bank accounts.
- Assists the Chief Representative & Director Office Admin to ensure compliance of local laws and regulations including but not limited to financial and accounting activities.

- Chief Representative and Cost Center Owners
- Director Office Admin
- Global Accountants
- Performance Management Sourcing Team
- Global Finance Team
- External consultants (if needed, tax consultants, accounting service consultants, banks, etc)
- Related Ministries or departments (i.e., Directorate of Tax, Ministry of Industry, Ministry of Trade, etc.)
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Well-versed with MS Office applications e.g. Excel and computer accounting / reporting environment. SAP is a defined advantage.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Vietnamese.
- Strong writing skills in policy or system documentation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Hardworking, independent, detail-minded and able to work under pressure.
- Familiar and updated on related regulation and policy.
- Demonstrated record as a team player.
- Able to drive results.
- Able to meet internal and external deadlines.
- Passionate in development career in accounting and reporting field.
REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- University Graduate in accounting or business related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in accounting in a multinational corporation, and 2 years of which shall be in a supervisory position.
- Good knowledge in generally accepted accounting principles.
- Experience in accounting system upgrades or process review will be an advantage.
