Manager, Finance Reporting
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
- Partner with senior management to drive budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, executive presentations, and various operational projects
- Manage and coordinate communication of FP&A functions with the stakeholders and ensure all the submissions are timely managed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand B2B performance through sell-in vs sell-out analysis, PVM mix, etc. to identify R&O and impact on margins.
- Support assessment on commercial effectiveness of SWB investments, customer mix and impact on markdown and margins.
- Standard margin and Go-in margin analysis and modelling with close collaboration with MOPs and Demand planning, understand category performance through PVM analysis to identify R&O and impact on margins, liaise with stakeholders on IBP and inventory.
- Collaborate with country team and SEA Demand Planning team in terms of alignment between the monthly IBP and RFC process, ensures consensus between Brand and Sales forecasts.
- Prepare for commercial performance, brand performance, marketing expense (MaEx), OOH (operating overhead including T&E) and analysis in a practical and timely manner for M3 review to be presented to Finance Director, Country Manager and channel heads.
- Prepare for standard or any ad-hoc Finance slides.
- Provide Brand financial performance insights through scenario and sensitivity analysis per category or article level.
- Collaborate with the channel lead to deliver MaEx annual plan (brand lead), PEX (HR lead), OOH (channel lead), budget, and forecast, and drive rigor on accuracy of reporting and analysis (E.g. actuals and forecast) in wholesales entity.
- Perform ROI analysis on marketing spend for Brand investment decision support.
- Liaise with NTP and support the brand team with negotiations for marketing expenses.
- Analyze DTC performance to provide actionable insights on sub-channel (CS/FO, Inline/platform; up to store level) to support discussions on profitability improvements.
- In charge of regular channel reporting and analysis including BOH review, retail PEX reporting, CAPEX tracking, and other reports related to channels.
- Collaborating with SEA eCom on performance tracking and analysis of profitability
- Develop visually engaging tools and enhance reporting capabilities on commercial KPIs for performance tracking and decision support.
- Develop engaging reporting tools and enhance reporting capabilities on category management and ensure monthly/quarterly/semi-annually/annual closing internal Adidas and external government report submitted timely without any issue in collaboration with Accounting operational team.
- Perform analysis on forecasts and actuals to provide insights on FP&A reporting deliverables.
- Shared responsibility of consolidation of regular FP&A reporting (assumption tracker, OOH breakdown, etc) ensuring accuracy and submission in a timely manner.
- Preparation of standard Finance slides.
- Responsible for corporate overheads, on the buildup of details including phasing.
- Support in developing tier 1 & 2 reports / dashboards for ongoing performance tracking and decision making.
- PMO support key projects and initiatives (e.g. CFIN).
- Plans and controls the channels’ operating overheads including cashflow forecast.
- Key User for SAP AFS and related systems
- Answer queries from Business, Auditors & Government Authority Officers.
- Handle and support ad-hoc assignment.

- Strong analytical, Interpersonal skills and communication skill, with cross-functional stakeholders.

- Has high attention to detail and accuracy while working with strict reporting deadlines.
- Excellent organizational skills, good time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize different requests.
- Solid and sound knowledge of accounting and financial principles.
- Advanced Microsoft Office Skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Prior experience with SAP, PowerBI and MicroStrategy is a plus.
- Maintain high level of accuracy & attention to details, and result orientated
- Good planning & organizing, problem solving, and analysis skills

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in finance in a strong and dynamic commercial environment, or 4 years of experience in a leading public accounting firm
