Manager, Materials Operations
PURPOSE
Key player in driving our vision to be the Most Agile, Most Competitive, Most Digitalized & Cleanest Supply Base in the industry. Lead operational activity and drive performance at assigned T2's. Support material development & product commercialization efforts to ensure adidas objectives are met. Develop, coach and grow reporting team members.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for T2 operations and supplier performance across development, commercialization, & production stages at assigned T2's.
- Monitor supplier performance, identify potential risks & coordinate mitigation efforts, initiating improvement plans as needed.
- Implement processes & policies at assigned T2's; onboard new ones; monitor compliance.
- Ensure company quality standards are effectively implemented and promote best practice sharing.
- Ensure accurate, high quality and timely execution of prototype sample and bulk order fulfilment.
- Coordinate counter development activities at assigned T2's.
- Drive cross-functional, supply chain-oriented initiatives as directed by leadership.
- Demonstrate partnership by regularly soliciting feedback from T2's; identify and escalate internal improvement opportunities.
- Drive cross-functional, supply chain-oriented initiatives as directed by leadership.
- Ensure all sourcing operations and practices fully comply with adidas’ Responsible Sourcing & Purchasing Policy, adidas standards and legal requirements, while managing the relevant processes internally and externally.
- Role model brand values and foster a culture of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
- Team: develop and coach team members, identify and grow key talent, build and establish succession plans.

- External stakeholders: T2 and T3 leadership
- Government & Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO)
REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- University degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Textile Technology or Business Management is preferred.
- Minimum 3~5 years work experience, related industry is preferred.
- Experience in soft goods Development and Production is an advantage.
