Assistant Manager, Allocation & Planning
Purpose
A key player in Product Development & Sourcing (PD&S) in driving to be the Most Agile, Most Competitive, Most Digitalized & Sustainable Supply Base in the industry. Secures on-time delivery performance for finished product in assigned geographies / product categories / supply base and ensures overall adidas delivery targets are met in a reliable fashion. Drives delivery performance management activities, optimizes production allocation, and manages related continuous improvement activities globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive global delivery performance for Footwear (FTW) by monitoring and proactively identify risks impacting delivery or capacity utilization.
- Drive issue identification and mitigation plan development, monitor execution progress, and manage cross functional communications for global delivery risks.
- Support the building of scenarios and alternative sourcing options with Business Intelligence tools to optimize performance and expedite data insights-based decision making.
- Manage end-to-end planning activities across Sourcing to deliver special commercial & brand projects (e.g. events, priority product launches, responsiveness / fulfilment programs).
- Support Buy Plan preparation and tactical allocation adjustments within seasonal production period to optimize along various dimensions (e.g. on-time delivery, landed costs, model mix, factory capabilities, etc.).
- Support allocation strategy implementation throughout seasonal production period and actively influence allocation strategy decision making to enable smooth production execution for future seasons.
- Support in strategic partner management with cross functional teams and evaluate annual delivery performance for global supplier management scorecard.
- Manage other analyses, projects and continuous improvement initiatives as defined by Director.
- Ensure all sourcing operations and practices fully comply with adidas’ Responsible Sourcing & Purchasing Policy, adidas standards and legal requirements, while managing the relevant processes internally and externally.

- Sourcing supplier: Tier 1 suppliers
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong knowledge of the sporting goods industry and manufacturing methods a plus
- Strong analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills
- Strong people, influencing and communication skills
- Advanced analytical and quantitative skills with experience using tools such as SQL, Power BI, Alteryx (preferred)
- Strong Microsoft office skill (especially Excel and Power Point)
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Requisite Education and Experience
- University degree
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience
