Assistant Manager, Business Analytics Supply Chain
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
The role will support the Senior Manager, Global Logistics (GL) BPM, in continuously improving GL performance management and analytics area. This role will manage a pipeline of initiatives in collaboration with GL, Markets, LSPs, Products and Supply Chain Intelligence (SCI). Responsibilities include conducting research, analyzing data to identify early trends of potential issues and improvement opportunities.
- Develop and improve GL visibility by creating/co-creating interactive BI dashboards.
- Support GL’s digital transformation roadmap in the area of data analysis and analytics.
- Measure GL & LSP performance and report findings to management.
- Facilitate data quality and visibility improvements by liaising with multiple teams and functions.
- Provide analytical support and insights to GL to aid decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Intelligence & Analytics
- Design and create interactive operational & management BI reports using Databricks and PowerBI to meet stakeholder needs and business requirements.
- Translate business needs into technical requirements for SCI to develop executive & management BIs reports.
- Support the testing, validation & maintenance of BI reports created.
- Provide various regular reports to GL, markets & LSPs for performance reviews.
- Develop a deep understanding of the system and applications landscape to enhance business support through reporting and analytics.
- Follow up on abnormal data points/calculations/inquiries from stakeholders regarding the BI reports and resolve with relevant parties such as GL ops, Product, LSPs, SCI etc
- Streamline and automate reporting processes by working closely with GL teams and stakeholders.
- Engage with GL functions and LSPs to understand their KPIs and challenges, utilizing data to drive improvements, transparency, and reliable processes.
Demand Management for BI Needs
- Support the Senior Manager in consolidating requests from GL stakeholders and creating a comprehensive roadmap and plan for BI developments.
- Create support tickets for SCI and follow up regularly on progress & timelines.
- Maintain the visibility of prioritized demands received from various stakeholders, including GL and Markets.
- Ensure alignment of BI initiatives with business goals and stakeholder expectations.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Pro-active (quick learner, engaging & detail oriented) mind-set, ability to think end-to-end
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Power BI, Excel and Databricks/SQL
- Experience in Power Automate/Copilot Studio & ability to learn new technical tools is a definite asset
- Growth mindset with good numerical and analytical skills
- Ability to be self-directed while working under tight deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with different international cultures
- Good communication & facilitation skills when interacting with different levels of business
- Able to embrace innovation, challenge the status quo and drive change
- Supply Chain/Global logistics knowledge & experience would be an added advantage
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- Four-year college (or) university degree with focus on Business Administration, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics or related areas, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 3-4 years of progressive work experience preferably in retail/supply chain industry with hands-on experience in data analysis
