Assistant Manager Sales Planning

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

Develop business plans to optimize the sales achievement in Wholesale & Franchise business with proven analysis on sales performance.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Planning

  • Formulate business planning strategies to achieve sales targets & KPIs
  • Project an accurate forecast of annual budget, monthly sales targets & quarterly OTB
  • Evaluate the profitability as per Trade Terms offered to customers
  • Provide market intelligence updates to facilitate decision making and strategy formulation
  • Support Sales Director and Senior Manager to develop Key account plans in order to maximize sales opportunities
  • Be the key driver in Sales team & integrator between all related functions to achieve the best result on sales plans
  • Strengthen the linkages across all key stakeholders with effective alignment & communication to achieve sales targets
  • Initiate & lead cross-functional sales projects to achieve company goals

 

Performance Measurement

  • Capitalize on historical data & current market trends to perform comprehensive analysis
  • Work close with Senior Manager to provide analytical insights to support Sales Director on decision making
  • Evaluate the Wholesale & Franchise business performance through quality reports
  • Present the sales performance in a professional way
  • Identify gaps on sales achievement if any for prompt actions
  • Propose solutions for performance improvements
  • Monitor the inventory level of wholesale & franchise accounts to ensure a healthy level is maintained in the market
  • Initiate stock movement plans to capture sales opportunities & achieve optimal margin
  • Work closely with Sales team to ensure ongoing support of all sales functions according to the Global best practice standard
  • Provide all administrative support across the functions of Wholesales team to ensure operation excellence

  • Actively participate in process improvement initiatives focusing on streamlining the sales forecasting & collection of sales data
  • Governance the sales data integrity

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications

  • 5 years’ experience in Business Planning
  • University degree
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Good command of English
