  • Simplifying and improving operational processes.
  • Supporting business users through change management and system adoption.

YOUR MISSION

As part of this team, you will support data quality improvement projects for Global Logistics, helping adidas transform the way logistics teams and partner functions operate. You will help turn data quality requirements into practical monitoring, reporting and continuous-improvement processes.

The role combines hands-on analytics with process improvement, working with business stakeholders, data owners and technical teams to make data quality visible, identify root causes and help ensure improvements are sustained rather than treated as one-time fixes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the definition of data quality measures, calculation logic, targets, ownership and reporting cadence
  • Profile and analyse datasets to identify missing, inaccurate, inconsistent, duplicate or outdated data
  • Investigate recurring data quality issues, help trace root causes and business impact
  • Create and maintain data quality KPI dashboards that make issues, trends and improvement progress easy to understand
  • Help design a continuous data quality improvement mechanism, including monitoring, issue logging, ownership, action tracking and follow-up
  • Work with data owners and process teams to agree corrective and preventive actions, then track progress to closure
  • Perform checks to validate whether implemented changes have improved data quality and whether improvements are sustained
  • Prepare concise updates for stakeholders, highlighting key findings, decisions required, risks and recommended next steps
  • Maintain clear documentation for KPI definitions, data sources, transformation logic, known limitations and operating procedures
  • Support testing and user validation of dashboards, rules and other data quality solutions
  • Assist with related analytics, reporting and process-improvement projects as priorities evolve
  • Update Yammer/Teams with project milestones, updates, and success stories
  • Assist in creating and refining SOP for global processes, especially for data quality related topics
  • Assist in evaluating and applying AI-based solutions to improve data quality, reporting, analytics, and operational processes.

MUST HAVE SKILLS:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure an unclear problem and work through details
  • Comfortable working with data and analytics tools to explore, analyse, and visualize information; experience with Excel, Power BI, SQL, Python, or AI-assisted analytics tools is a plus
  • Clear written and verbal communication, with ability to explain findings in plain language
  • Proactive and organized – self-starter who can manage tasks and follow-ups efficiently
  • Attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership for data accuracy and completeness

YOUR PROFILE:

  1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree student in data analytics, information systems, computer science, mathematics, supply chain or a related field
  2. Enrolled as full-time student for the complete duration of the internship
  3. Fluent in English (both spoken and written)
  4. Self-driven, curious, and comfortable learning new tools independently
  5. Demonstrated interest in AI, data, or digital innovation through coursework, projects, hackathons, or personal exploration.

At adidas, we strongly believe that embedding diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) into our culture and talent processes gives our employees a sense of belonging and our brand a real competitive advantage.
