Senior Manager, FP&A
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
This role is responsible for financial controlling and cost management across Sourcing and Product Operation functions. As a business partner the focus is to enable fact-based decision making, best practice sharing, and continuous process improvement by creating transparency on impact and dependencies of core cost and service drivers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business partnering with senior leaders in Sourcing
- Support execution of Sourcing strategy to improve end-to-end group performance, cost, and service levels.
- Support on FTE management across organization by business partnering with HR.
- Implement and drive workforce analytics for operational as well as strategic business and workforce planning.
- Manage cost centers and support cost center owners in all financial tasks, e.g., investment and recruitment requests.
- Control spending of respective function and cost center owners.
- Financial Planning & Analysis
- Drive the budgeting, forecasting and reporting process for Sourcing and Product Operation overheads (PEX & non-PEX).
- Explain deviations and identifying saving potentials.
- Own the month end closing process with ensuring correct bookings
- Develop and implement controlling-related state of the art reporting and analytic tools.
- Manage Global Business Service (GBS) on supporting on operational tasks.
- Projects
- Lead or support on cross functional projects to drive work efficiency and value-adding services to the business.
- Support business case development and costs savings initiatives by challenging, identifying and quantifying improvement potential.
- Join or lead financial analysis in other pillar of sourcing finance team such as product costs or trade finance related topics.
Key Relationships:
- Senior leadership in Sourcing & Product Operations in multiple countries.
- Head office finance teams in headquarters and local accountant in each sourcing origin.
- HR Function
- Supporting Function (IT, GBS)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent analytical skills, managing large data quantities from multiple sources
- Ability to maneuver and work in a consistently changing and cross-functional environment within different management levels of a global organization
- Result oriented and pro-active with a high degree of customer orientation
- Very good business partnering skills e.g. communication and presentation skills
- Experience in using business intelligence and analytic software. E.g. Power BI, Tableau, Qlik
- Knowledge of building modeling and reporting through coding (Python, R, SQL, DAX etc.) and , Power BI
- Excellent MS Office skills (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
- Fluent in business English (written and spoken)
- People management experience is an advantage
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- University degree in Business Administration/ Finance/ Accounting or equivalent background in related fields.
- 5+ years of experience in multinational companies with roles involving either strong financial business partnering, FP&A or analytical requirements
- Knowledge of fast-moving consumer goods, fashion industry and/or retail is an advantage
