The 6-month full-time Internship at adidas provides you with a unique opportunity to apply what you’ve learned at university, use your knowledge in practice, and live your passion for sports in our Global Headquarter for Product Development & Sourcing business in Hong Kong.

About the Internship:
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
Support the strategic initiatives and process optimization by developing new data analytics and leveraging digital tools to facilitate management decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support implementation of data analytics and reporting deliverables for sourcing teams
- Support business process improvements via automation and data management
- Help elevate effectiveness and capacity of Digital Transformation efforts for sourcing & production development teams
- Design and implement decision support tool/system for supplier business performance
- Collect, analyze, synthesize & present data for decision making
- Support organization of key events e.g. supplier meetings
Key Relationships:
- Liaison Offices, and other functions in sourcing and product development, i.e. planning, materials, quality, costing, sustainable sourcing, product creation, etc.
- Sourcing senior leadership team
- Data and Analytics team
- Corporate IT and Data Management
Required main study courses:
- Bachelor/master’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations/Supply Chain Management, Computer Science (or any other major with demonstrated interest in supply chain operations, data analytics and coding skills)
Preferred university/ discipline: Any
Required skills:
- Fluent in English (oral and in writing)
- Working knowledge of MS Excel is required
- Tech savvy, comfortable with algorithms, ability and desire to learn new tools
- Comfortable in using AI tools in ethical manners
- Knowledge of SQL, Python, Power BI, Databricks, VBA, or other programming languages/data tools would be a plus
