KAM Ecommerce
Purpose:
The development of digital commerce with partners and new players is fundamental to ensure our business growth in the marketplace. The Key Account Manager will be driving the account strategy and is the key point of contact between adidas and the assigned accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
Functional:
- To establish professional and personal relationships to the relevant key decision makers and buyers of the assigned customer(s) te to making adidas Group the ‘preferred supplier’.
- Act internally as an ‘ambassador’ towards all functions and vice versa and help manage all interfaces
- Building the local range offer together with ecomm & Wholesale team, including Brand and SMU programs if possible. Plan and react on product promotions such as discounted offers and affordable bulk packages.
- Drive in-season and pre-season processes with all relevant stakeholders to ensure sustainable growth and efficiency
- To understand the assigned accounts and categories and drive the development of account strategies, formalizing them in a holistic Strategic Account or Joint Business Plan. Build together with Trade Marketing the brand & commercial activation calendar taking into account ranging & account profile, and coordinate implementation.
- Overview daily, weekly and monthly reporting to drive both in-season needs and future season planning, forecasting and buying.
- Drive and Pilot sales and implement optimizations: highlighting any products that are not performing – discussing improvements with partner. Monitoring sell-out to ensure reliable and cost efficient supply for the account as well as to identify and capture selling opportunities.
- Manage landing pages, product information, reviews and checkout options, all other pertinent website-related systems to ensure their visual appeal, accuracy, and ease of use. Monitor website traffic to take the right decisions
- Manage business KPIs linked to order fulfilment and inventory management, e.g. standard margin, cancellations, NS, etc
- Monitoring logistic performance in compliance with SLAs
- To develop internal processes to enable the team to manage this business more efficiently.
- P&L responsible
Controlling:
- To measure progress on own KPIs
- To report to all superiors using KAM standard reporting as a minimum;
- To monitor and report on customer(s) and competitors activities and propose/initiate/take actions;
- To provide realistic plans and forecasts on customer performance;
- To ensure customer compliance with agreements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Exposure: sports, sales, marketing either in apparel/fashion/shoes or FMCG;
- Understanding of retail merchandising, buying, product planning and/or sales and the product creation process a plus
- Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills;
- Good business acumen
- Feel comfortable with working in an international environment.
Requisite Education and Experience:
- University degree in business administration preferred.
- At least 5 years working experience in eCommerce business and ideally Sales, CTC or Merchandising background
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills;
- Fluent English
- Advanced knowledge of the MS Office package, with a focus on Excel and PowerPoint;
