You’ll be joining our London hub in the heart of Farringdon, steps away from the iconic Hatton gardens and Leather Lane. Inside you’ll find a modern workspace with 12 showrooms, themed meeting rooms and inspiring creative spaces. Our multi-disciplinary team of 70+ adidas employees drive impact across Brand Marketing, Commercial and Business support functions.

As Director of Partner Publishing within the Global Brand Social Media Team, you’ll lead our global partner publishing strategy & execution that ensures creatively distinct and consistent work with adidas social creators/influencers, athletes and partners.
Working closely with all markets and categories, you’ll deliver best in class partner publishing, integrated into broader marketing plans. Ensuring brand stories are amplified through adidas partner portfolio and network channels with creativity, consistency, scale and impact.
Beyond adidas partners, you will lead the social media platform strategic partnerships, ensuring the team unlocks creative impact, platform innovation, positioning adidas as number one sports brand. You’ll help the team manage brand reputation, lead guidance and implementation of the latest cyber security technology across social media to protect the brand.
This is an ideal role for an experienced social media marketing leader with a track record of strong strategic work that influences and shapes brand discovery and purchase intent.
A day in the life:

Work with team around the globe to define & prioritise partner publishing that will move the brand forward and deliver against key KPIs. Show leadership to develop an internal network that shares and applies best practice, follows brand values whilst fostering a performance culture.

Embrance change and opportunities to define, align and implement new ways of working, in partnership with internal teams to improve adidas partner publishing.

Positively represent the brand internally and externally with partners who are integral to adidas brand and commercial growth.

Lead and shape the partnership with priority social platforms, with focus on social content and brand safety, in partnership with adidas Media team.

Approve and create partner publishing briefs for all major brand campaigns and moments, with a clear focus on improving quality and quantity of social output from our partners.

Work with insights and analytics teams to ensure our partner portfolio is delivering imapct for the brand on social.

Define and apply operational frameworks and in-person training/summits to firmly establish ways of working for partner publishing, platforms & cyber security.

Lead an engaged team of social media managers for platforms, partners and strategy, ensuring collectively you provide clear, timely, actionable guidance, that builds and protects the brand.

Own and direct the management of multiple marketing project budgets according to brand priorities and business initiatives for partner publishing. Ensure all aspects of the plan are within budget & follow company process and compliance.

Be a visible leader and role model for all social media managers and partner publishers. Attending workshops and summits to upskill internal teams and partners on strategic direction, expectations and industry best practice. Driving an actionable plan with accountability.

Big picture and visionary thinking

High level of experience editorial planning, particularly across PR and social landscape

Expert understanding of influencer/creator marketing

Strong experience of partner management, both across culture and Sports Marketing

High level of understanding of media planning

High level of project management experience – managing stakeholder groups, budgets and timelines

Ability to work across and bring together multiple teams, and be a senior spokesperson internally

Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills, fluent written & spoken English

Broad understanding of the sports and fashion/entertainment industry, and a passion for it
-
Proven track record in leading teams, project management, budget oversight

University degree or equivalent experience required.

10+ year’s experience in a marketing or digital field in an in-house capacity or in a marketing agency (or equivalent)
