Senior Manger Design Insights

This role is about consistently translating consumers and cultural mindset & behavior to be able to maintain or grow our cultural relevance. Finding meaning in the design trends around, sports, art, science, fashion, pop culture & sub-culture and bringing them into our processes and culture will fuel the brand and business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Support Design Trends and Insights Research and Interpretation: Assist in researching and interpreting global consumer, cultural and design trend insights into direct actionable content to inform the product creation processes (long-term & seasonal). Help identify diverse and shared brand, category, market & consumer design needs among business functions.
- Manage the delivery business relevant Documentation: Contribute to curating, designing, and communicating visual content for creative direction. Assist in creating documentation to be applied to creative direction, brand creative, product color, material, graphics, and for handover to the BU and stakeholder functions with foundational directives.
- Educational Workshops: Help onboard, workshop, and educate the organization on defined and documented trend insights that provide the foundation for creative strategies.
- Resource Management: Assist in establishing and maintaining a resource library of distilled and relevant trends and insights for the organization, including visual documentation of identified content.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments, including Tend & Insights, Product Design, Color and BU Graphic Design teams to ensure cohesive visual communication.
- Project Oversight: Support the oversight of multiple Insight & Vision projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- External Partnerships: Manage relationships with external agencies, artists, designers and creators to bring fresh perspectives and expertise into the brand.
- Centralize pool of credible external agencies, partnerships, & research fields to galvanize & avoid redundancies

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor's degree (4 years) from a college/university
- Degree in Management, Business, Design or related field
- Minimum 6 years of experience in respective field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Hands-on design experience, including management experience
- Extensive knowledge of product design with a clear understanding of the athletic market and its culture

- Employees are eligible to earn an annual bonus based on both company and personal performance. Employees accrue prorated flexible time off in the amount .4388 hours per day that increases with years of service, 11 paid holidays throughout the calendar year and Service Time Off during milestone years.
- The anticipated low and high end of the base pay range for this position is $140,000-$165,000. Actual salary will be based on various factors, such as a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills and competencies, proficiency for the role.
- We officially returned to office in a hybrid work environment, working 3 days in office and 2 days remote. The working location of this position is Los Angeles.
