Director Head-Office Supply Chain (m/f/d)

 

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

 

This role provides a unique opportunity within the Supply Chain Strategy & Digital Solutions team to shape how global Supply Chain functions operate together. As Director Head‑Office Supply Chain, you lead the team supporting all SCM global head‑office functions and work closely with the SVP Supply Chain and the executive leadership team. You ensure strong enterprise execution, effective leadership rhythms, and seamless collaboration across markets and global functions.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the SVP Supply Chain and the GSCM Executive Leadership Team, supporting operational steering and day-to‑day organizational effectiveness.
  • Build, lead, and coach your team, fostering a collaborative, safe environment, where team members grow & continuously learn.
  • Serve as a core member of the Strategy & Enablement leadership team, reporting to the Senior Director and collaborating closely with Market and Functional leaders.
  • Lead the Global Functions Head Office team and jointly develop the annual operating calendar that translates strategic priorities into leadership agendas, key milestones, global engagements, and market interactions.
  • Own and orchestrate the SCM leadership cadence — ensuring strategic priorities are translated into clear decision cycles, well‑prepared leadership forums, consistent follow‑up, and transparent progress tracking.
  • Drive preparation of all SCM Board, Corporate Strategy, and other adidas Senior Management reporting, thereby ensuring continuous cross-functional alignments.
  • Owns the SCM communications agenda and cadence, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment of strategic messages across leadership, SCM community, and the wider organization.
  • Manage the global Supply Chain Tech Demand Management process, in partnership with Markets, Tech, and Finance — including demand collection, consolidation, and funding submission.
  • Oversee SCM governance processes to ensure effective controls, policy alignment, risk awareness, and TradeCo (aITAG) board governance supporting strategic execution.
  • Co-Lead Community & Engagement which help shape global people priorities, design engagement moments, and oversee the initiatives roadmap that support cultural transformation.
  • Support the SVP SCM with coordination and resolution of cross‑functional issues and topics requiring enterprise alignment.

Requisite Education and Qualifications: 

 

  • 8 years of relevant work experience in a multinational company environment (e.g. Chief of Staff, consulting, project management).
  • Strong understanding of global operations and opportunities.
  • Colleague or university degree, or equivalent combination of education & experience.
