Senior Manager Sales
Lead the development of a comprehensive strategic plan for adidas in collaboration with the assigned strategic account. Drive sustainable, profitable market share growth by fostering trust-based, long-term partnerships and delivering an integrated sales and marketing approach that reinforces adidas’ brand image and supports overarching business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Business:
- Define account objectives, strategies, and actionable business plans based on data-driven insights and aligned with DPC, Omnichannel Wholesale Activation, Brand, and GTM guidelines.
- Negotiate, implement, and monitor execution of account-specific plans, including:
- Pricing adjustments, terms, and conditions
- Range and SMUs in collaboration with Range Management
- Marketing activities with Omnichannel Wholesale Activation
- Ensure reliable, cost-efficient merchandise supply and timely resolution of account requests and complaints.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at senior levels, leveraging internal leadership support when necessary.
- Continuously evaluate organizational effectiveness and resource allocation to deliver against Strategic Business Plan targets.
Controlling:
- Track and report progress on KPIs in line with guidelines.
- Provide accurate forecasts and realistic performance plans for assigned accounts.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and developments within key accounts to identify opportunities and risks.
- Ensure full compliance with contractual agreements and company standards.
Team management:
- Set clear objectives, targets, and development plans for direct reports, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members’ functional and leadership skills through structured feedback and day-to-day coaching.
- Drive collaboration across areas and ensure seamless team integration to achieve shared goals.
- Represent the team in key commercial forums, including Quarterly Business Reviews, top-to-top meetings, and other strategic milestones.
