Manager, Sales Operations

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

 

  • Sales Ops & DTC Team Sr. Manager on maintaining database and master data and dealing with other ad hoc tasks
  • Lead Channel Business Planning process and support Sales team on Order management, Sales tracking. Channels include
    • Wholesales
    • Retail
    • eCom
  • Monitor and control Sell in, Sell out and Wholesale/Retail purchasing planning
  • Support Retail team for BPM approval
  • Support Retail adidas Japan, adidas Golf store P&L
  • Organize IBP and data collection for Wholesale input
  • Reporting and tracking Sales, Standard margin, CAPEX

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Functional:

  • Develop the following report weekly / monthly basis with the support of Business Planning Senior Manager and FP&A;
  • Rolling Forecast
  • Backlog / AO
  • Return / Markdown
  • Off Invoice
  • Cancellation
  • Sell-out / Inventory
  • Ensure that all report is developed accurately and delivered on-time 
  • Conduct an analysis of the business with available data

 

 

KPI:

  • Ensure the accuracy of all financial information required by company

 

 

Key Relationships:   

 

  • FP&A Japan Senior Manager
  • Market Commercial: Sales channel Senior Directors and account managers in Key Accounts channel, Field Sales channel, and Special channel
  • Market Back Office: Sales Planning & Analysis team in Key Accounts channel and Field Sales channel, Customer Services, FP&A, Logistics, IT

 

 

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

 

  • Profound understanding of Sporting goods industry and Wholesale / Retail math
  • Strategic thinking and ability to work with cross functional team to drive initiatives
  • Strong communication and negotiation skill
  • Strong database management skill

 

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • University degree in Business or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of functional experiences in Sales or Operations department
  • Minimum 1 year of informal managerial experiences
  • Exposure: Sports or Lifestyle industry, Sales, Marketing, Project Management
  • IT: Advanced MS Office skill
  • English: Fluent in writing and speaking
  • Japanese: Fluent
