Key Account Manager, Franchise

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

 

  • The purpose of the role is to be a key account manager for the Franchise Partners in the Philippines.
  • Key responsibility would be closely aligning with all Franchise teams to land the pre-selected seasonal assortments and execute the account specific strategies as defined by the SEA and Country Strategy
  • Objectives would be to ensure delivery of targets whilst ensuring all opportunities for additional sales and market share growth are identified and maximized. A strong collaboration with the OBF and marketing team is the prerequisite for this.

 

Key Tasks / Functions:


Account Management

 

  • Align key stakeholders to manage the respective categories tied to adidas Franchise partner KPIs: sell out, margin, orderbook conversion, inventory cover, SKU efficiency, etc. and define actions when needed.
  • Closely collaborate with Franchise Operations Manager to drive adidas Franchise store KPIs: sell out, sell-through, space productivity, conversion rate, units per transaction, average transaction value.
  • Lead Open-to-Buy planning per door, per customer, in line with store sell out modeling and productivity expectations and aligning set budgets with Franchisee key decision makers.
  • Land adidas monoband pre-season assortment as defined by creation of the assortment where and when needed through close coordination with Franchisee Buyers, aligning Buying and Merchandising Framework with adidas Buying/Merchandising team’s ways of working.
  • Identify in-season incremental stock opportunities to drive stores’ productivity growth supported by the Franchise In-season Trader.
  • Act as Project Manager for store opening and remodeling plans collaborating with adidas Franchise Operations, Store Development, Visual Merchandising, Buying & Merchandising, and Franchisee Brand team from store design planning to execution.
  • Support Training programs led by the Sales Academy Team and aligned on store staff training needs identified together with Franchise Operations.
  • Plan and organize physical touchpoints and strategic meetings with internal and external stakeholders.

 

Reporting & Analysis

 

  • Regularly monitor Franchise partners deliverables and KPIs, provide insights and action steps to FRS Operations, In-Season Trading, Buying/Merchandising, and Brand teams.
  • Prepare facts and figures for seasonal reviews, strategic meetings, and/or other milestones.
  • Update Key Account Strategic plans with the most recent seasonal facts and figures.
  • Monthly business planning & RFC: Complete planning documents for all countries including sell-out, intake, month on hand, and make proposals for pull forward / push out accordingly.
  • Forecast future seasons needs based upon current trends alongside scale and store expansion plans.
  • Continue to monitor the sell-through and the order backlog as well as reliable and cost-efficient supply for the account:
  • By proactively facilitating meetings with Operations and Customer Service teams.
  • To conduct and share sell through information from Franchise partners.
  • Monitor & report on customers’ and competitors’ activities and propose/ initiate/ take actions.
  • Ensure customer compliance with trade agreements (i.e. trade terms).

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

 

  • Recognized Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales Management
  • 1 – 2 years in a reporting & analytics role
  • 5 years in account management, sales, marketing will be advantageous.
  • Proven methodological & analytical skills (analytics, business planning)
  • Keen interest in commercial and possess good business acumen
  • Extensive knowledge of the retail/sporting/apparels/FMCG industry will be of added advantage.
