Director, Supply Chain Operations

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:

 

Lead end-to-end Supply Chain Operations across Australia and New Zealand, with accountability for inbound planning & execution, warehousing, inventory management, fulfillment and transportation operations within a complex omni-channel environment.

 

The role is responsible for ensuring products flow efficiently through the supply chain from source through to customer fulfillment, delivering exceptional customer service, inventory integrity, operational excellence and financial performance. The position holds accountability for Supply Chain Operations P&L management across Australia and New Zealand, driving productivity, cost optimisation and sustainable value creation.

 

Working closely with Supply Chain, Commercial teams (Wholesale, Retail & eCommerce), Finance, Emerging Markets (EM) and Global stakeholders, this role drives operational excellence across logistics partners, warehousing operations, transportation networks and inventory management processes. A key focus of the role is building organisational and operational capability through talent development, process excellence, technology enablement, strong governance and continuous improvement to support future business growth and increasing omni-channel complexity.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead Supply Chain Operations across Australia and New Zealand, including inbound planning & logistics, warehousing, inventory management, fulfillment and transportation
  • Develop and execute the Supply Chain Operations strategy to enable Pacific business growth and omni-channel excellence
  • Ensure alignment between operational capabilities and evolving business requirements across Wholesale, Retail and eCommerce channels
  • Partner with stakeholders & customers to drive joint improvement outcomes
  • Build & drive operational excellence through disciplined performance management, governance and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Own operational service, inventory, productivity and cost outcomes across the Pacific market

Requisite Education & Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • University degree or equivalent professional experience
  • 10+ years' experience leading Supply Chain Operations within consumer goods, retail or omni-channel environments
  • Proven track record managing end-to-end logistics, warehousing and inventory operations at scale
  • Demonstrated P&L ownership and delivery of service, cost and productivity outcomes
  • Experience managing strategic logistics partners and leading large-scale operational transformation
  • Strong leadership capability with experience developing teams and influencing across regional and global matrix organisations
