Manager, Category Management
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:
This role sits at the centre of brand, product and commercial decision‑making for Originals in the Pacific. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Originals, the Category Manager is responsible for shaping and delivering category range plans that reflect global strategy while truly landing in the local market.
You’ll lead Originals Apparel, Kids and Accessories across Pacific, and play a key role in supporting the broader Footwear direction. Success in this role comes from balancing consumer insight, data‑led decision‑making and strong cross‑functional collaboration to drive sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities:

Own category range planning for Originals across the Pacific market

Translate global and Emerging Markets strategy into locally relevant assortments

Partner closely with the Senior Manager, Originals on seasonal priorities and category direction

Use data and market insight to guide pricing, forecasting and product mix decisions

Track and drive category performance across sell‑through, net sales and margin

Lead execution across key Go‑To‑Market milestones and internal forums

Deliver clear, compelling category presentations to internal stakeholders

Work closely with Brand Activation, Wholesale and DTC teams to bring the category to life

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Proven experience in category management, merchandising or retail within a consumer‑led environment

Strong commercial and analytical mindset, with confidence working in data and insights

Ability to influence and collaborate across multiple functions

Solid Excel and PowerPoint capability

Comfortable working at pace and balancing strategic thinking with execution
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

University degree preferred
-
Significant experience in a relevant role (around 7+ years)
