Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

You will be responsible for maintaining existing transportation contracts, negotiate new and renewals with service providers in coordination with Global Logistics, Global Procurement, Finance and NTP. You will also lead and manage the Outbound operations with existing 3rd Party Logistics Provider (3PL) Transport and Site Management teams in line with the contract KPI/SLA’s.

Key Responsibilities:

 
  • Performance management of Transport providers across all business channels and

 associated DIFOT KPIs.

    • TGE – B2B
    • Toll Fast (Victoria retail)
    •  Aust Post (eCom)
    • Xpress Freight (JD Sports)
    • Xtreme Freight (ad hoc Victoria).
  • Development and adherence to cost budgets, to maximise profitability
  • Management and execution of DIFOT for customer deliveries.
  • Develop new initiatives and ways to optimise the transport service offering, to drive

continuous improvements and efficiencies with carriers

  • Participation in key meetings to ensure order placement and product flow in line with

business expectations and requirements

  • Maintain responsibility for performing all duties in compliance with related safety,

legal/statutory, regulations, professional duties, responsibilities and obligations

  • Liaison with business SMEs in regional clusters to foster professional development

 and expertise

  • Key communication conduit between sales channels, supply chain and 3PL DC,

underpinned by daily and weekly meetings.

  • Day-to-day management of outbound planning and outbound prioritization, in liaison

with the sales channels

  • RFC management to ensure end of month business targets are achieved
  • Manage and drive QBR and MBR process, with focus on the performance management of

the carriers

  • Champion liaison with business channels and 3PL for Seasonal Peak Planning
  • SPOC to 3PL and transport carriers.
  • Developing supply chain blueprint for new store openings and carrier inbound requirements
