Senior Specialist, Partner Program & Capabilities
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:
The Senior Specialist, Partner Program & Capabilities is responsible for driving profitable growth, brand share and net sales across the Pacific Marketplace channel, with a primary focus on The Iconic. The role also supports the Manager, eCommerce Capabilities & Partner Program on capability initiatives and implementations.
The role owns the day-to-day commercial and operational execution of marketplace accounts, including trade, product cataloguing, inventory, integrations and partner-specific processes, while identifying opportunities to improve performance, scalability and the consumer experience.
Working closely with Digital Partner Commerce, Brand, Buying, Merchandising, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance and IT, the role ensures marketplace operations run seamlessly, and adidas eCommerce standards are consistently delivered.
The role also identifies and resolves technical, system and operational issues, partnering with local and global teams to continuously improve the tools, systems and processes supporting marketplace operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the day-to-day commercial trade of adidas Marketplace accounts, with a primary focus on The Iconic.
- Support the ongoing management and operational readiness of future marketplace partners as the Partner Program portfolio expands.
- Support the Manager, eCommerce Capabilities & Partner Program in delivering marketplace forecasted sales, demand and P&L targets as well as capabilities topics & implementations
- Monitor and influence key marketplace performance KPIs, including sales, conversion, availability, fulfilment, returns and customer experience.
- Oversee marketplace product range + cataloguing, including product titles, imagery, product attributes and onsite content, ensuring accuracy and strong digital presentation.
- Partner with Brand Marketing to coordinate and optimise marketplace marketing activity and spend, ensuring investment supports commercial and brand objectives.
- Oversee product, inventory and order feeds between adidas internal systems, middleware providers and marketplace partners, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
- Support partner onboarding, system integrations and operational readiness for new marketplace platforms.

- Smooth product & order data sync between platforms

- Brand/Digital Marketing, Digital Partner Commerce, Global and Regional adidas Digital Product, Commercial and Operations teams
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Strong computer literacy, with the ability to work across multiple systems and applications simultaneously and accurately reconcile information between systems.
- Understanding of eCommerce systems, platforms and the broader digital commerce technology landscape.
- Experience with content management systems and digital product/catalogue management.
- Familiarity with middleware platforms, system integrations and API connectivity is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify data discrepancies, operational issues and root causes.
- Strong organisational, multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across cross-functional and external partner teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- University degree preferred, ideally in eCommerce, Digital, Business, Marketing or a related discipline.
- Experience in eCommerce, marketplace, digital wholesale, sales or account management.
- Experience working with digital marketplaces or retailer platforms is preferred.
- Experience managing digital content, product catalogues and/or master data.
- Understanding of the local eCommerce and digital marketplace landscape.
- Understanding of key digital commerce performance metrics across the consumer journey, including conversion, click-through rate, traffic, availability and sales.
- Understanding of key retailer and marketplace financial metrics, including sales, inventory, margin, returns and settlement/reconciliation.
- Strong communication, negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Demonstrated analytical and planning skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable commercial and operational improvements.
