Senior Specialist, Digital Performance Marketing

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

 

As Senior Specialist, Digital Performance Marketing, you’ll be a key driver of brand growth and ecommerce success for adidas Australia & New Zealand. Based in Melbourne, you’ll lead mid- and lower-funnel campaigns across paid channels to boost traffic, conversions, and revenue.

You’ll own strategy, planning, and budget management, partnering with local media agencies for flawless execution. While you won’t work in-platform daily, your technical expertise and ability to critique media plans will ensure campaigns deliver maximum impact.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and execute the performance marketing strategy for adidas Pacific.
  • Lead paid campaigns to drive traffic and revenue across channels (Google Search/Shopping, Meta, TikTok, Display, Affiliates).
  • Manage local media agencies and oversee day-to-day paid operations.
  • Own a multi-million-dollar budget, ensuring strong ROI and efficient spend.
  • Drive testing, reporting, and optimization to identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with analytics teams to measure effectiveness and commercial impact.
  • Align paid efforts with merchandising priorities and business goals.
  • Stay ahead of media trends and implement innovative features.
  • Deliver campaign performance reports and provide digital expertise to stakeholders.

 

KPI's:

 

  • Traffic growth, app installs, and revenue targets.
  • Customer Lifetime Value (CLTV).
  • Maximize ROAS and ensure efficient budget utilization.
  • On-time, in-full campaign execution.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

 

  • Proven experience managing large budgets across multiple paid platforms.
  • Expertise in performance media, optimization, and bid management.
  • Hands-on experience with platforms like SearchAds360, Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, Google Display & Video 360, and affiliate tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with Adobe Analytics or GA4.
  • Familiarity with martech (CDP, feed management, CAPI, CRM) and automation.
  • Excellent communication skills to simplify complex concepts.
  • Proactive, results-driven, and adaptable to new technologies.
  • Experience with attribution modeling/MMM is a plus.

 

Requisite Education & Experience:

 

  • 3-5 years in digital marketing and performance media.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal).
  • Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel.
