Manager Transportation Control & Billing
Key Responsibilities:
• Budget execution and control.
• Invoicing omnichannel orders over 500 M euros.
• Accountable for invoicing process controls and system issue resolution.
• Freight services and payments conciliation
• Own the Transportation Data landscape and the main POC for all internal and external partners in terms of data and related spend analysis.
• Develop, manage, and update regional transportation decks and scorecards
• Drive data-driven decision making in whole MX network deliveries
• Analyse and pinpoint top improvement areas within Supply Chain
• Own the financial performance reporting of the department.
• Analyse and report full visibility for Net Sales monthly Recognition share.
• Carry out ad hoc analysis to drive agile decision making
• Support ongoing and designed projects with data, by building and justifying business cases
• Build automized reports (Excel, Data warehouse, or web based) for team use
• Drive and own data reliability and richness on company-wide used data tools
• Work with the technical teams to enhance the transportation reporting capabilities
• Improve the understanding, awareness and proper use of available data within the organization
• Own transportation KPIs reporting (POD, lead times, cost and choices)
• Be customer centric in everything we do, recommending and developing new key metrics to help enhance the customer delivery experience.
Key Relationships:
• Freight Transportation management
• Initiate and drive data driven discussions with cross-functional internal stakeholders, as well as external partners
• Couple the data with qualitative input, issues, feedback, and insights to prepare, plan, align and deliver solutions
• Identify, analyze and interpret trends, patterns and outliers in complex data sets
• Deliver timely analysis of the aligned tactical / strategic initiatives
• Work with senior management to prioritize business and information needs
• Proactively manage stakeholders, identify needs and manage communication
• Stakeholders can relate (but not limited) to the following core functions:
o MX Transportation team as closest internal customers of the analysis required
o MX Supply Chain Management (all functions)
Particularly Performance Management and Supply Chain Teams
o MX Market (all functions)
o External partners (carriers, solution providers and consultants)
o Global Operations (Global Transportation, Procurement. Digital, Strategy and IT)
o Corporate functions (e.g., legal, finance & performance management)

Hard skills:
• SAP FICO intermedium – advanced preferred
• Advanced MS Office skills, especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
• Technical expertise regarding data models, data mining, segmentation and presentation techniques
• Strong knowledge and expertise with reporting packages (Business Objects for instance), databases (SQL), PowerBI, Microstrategy, VBA and Tableau.
• Number savvy with strong analytical skills
• Adept at queries, MS Excel based analysis, report writing and presenting the findings
• Having worked in an e-com environment is considered an advantage
• Understanding of a complex transportation / supply chain network
• Working experience with a Transportation Management and Optimization system is a plus
• Can locate and define new process improvement processes
• Dives deep with proven data analytics skills, and willing to ‘get his/her hands dirty’
• Frugal. Does not compensate speed or quality over each other.
• Has experience in building and evaluating Business Cases with scenario planning
• Financial literacy is a plus
