Purpose of the role:
Support the Sales Organization in ensuring profitable and sustainable market share and sales growth in the respective defined customer group, taking into consideration brand image in the key categories as well as the defined target group.
What you'll do:
- Drive profitable and sustainable Market Share Growth with the assigned Accounts.
- Knowledge and application of adidas strategy within the assigned customers and categories.
- Build professional and personal relationships with key decision makers and buyers of assigned customers as a prerequisite for adidas to become the 'preferred supplier'.
- Develop Sales & Marketing Account strategies formalizing them in strategic account plans with mid-term vision.
- Support of the Director in strategic account management (including analysis and preparation of sales figures, participation in the creation of concepts and business models, identification of potentials and measures, analysis of customers, competitors, market environment and market developments, etc.).
- Build and execute realistic plans and forecasts managing sell-in and top to top customer meeting using the sell-in checklist, pre-selecting the range, offering sell-out support, based on our seasonal focus products, technologies and concepts.
- Monitor and explore the orderbook to find actions and opportunities supporting sell-out and MS growth through reorder and clearance tools.
- Proactively develop, manage and execute creative grassroots activities with customers to enhance brand image as well as drive demand with customers (generating sales growth).
- Influence internal & external stakeholders as trusted advisor, cascade all relevant information, manage and participate actively at cross-functional teams at European level for Cross-boarders customer.
- Plan, organize and manage sell-in campaigns, considering and respecting timing (cut-offs), product access (segmentation, ecc.), as well as seasonal targets (Trade Investment Letter / other targets set with Line Manager) shared by the company.
- Develop and execute strategies to advance the client's digital capabilities as an omnichannel player in the wholesale digital marketplace.
- Key account management in terms of sales target planning, potential analysis, increase of sell-through, healthy & sustainable increase of market share with defined customers.
- Drive sell-out culture through joint business plan recurrence, action plan & ownership.
- High analytical skills for strategy development and business planning
- Strong interpersonal skills: Very good communications and negotiating abilities as well as high presentation, relationship management and facilitation skills.
- Commercial and business acumen knowledge (e.g. sales, trade marketing, finance and controlling).
- Results oriented, Commercial & biz acumen, negotiation, fast decision-maker, proactive mindset (being entrepreneur), clear understanding and commitment to company goals.
- Strong team player with the proven ability to work cross-functionally in order to achieve objectives and targets. Be a role modeling, coaching, mentoring and taking care of people and their career plans.
- Ability to influence business partners in other functional areas to build consensus and understanding.
- Very good understanding of retail sales practices and ability to create practical and logical assortment plans based on selling space, inventory turns and sell through.
- Mental flexibility, initiative, and determination, be a curious leader, bring innovation, continuous betterment
- Fluency in English and local language (written and spoken); additional languages are an advantage.
- Advanced knowledge of Market Share Office package, with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint.
- Digital mindset and good knowledge of digital media.
Main Requirements:
- Functional: > 5 years sales experience
- Leadership: > 1 years of experience
- Exposure: sales, sporting goods, product marketing, account marketing
- Fluent English and local language
- IT (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI)
