Purpose of the role:
Develop adidas activation strategy and supervise the implementation across all Omnichannel channels, touchpoints and activation levers for selected Wholesale Accounts in accordance with Global and adidas Europe guidelines and the local strategic plan, in order to:
- achieve business and marketing objectives for the different categories, thus increasing the sell-out,
- guarantee the visibility of company’s key concepts at the point of sales (online & offline),
- reach out the adidas consumer aiming at exciting, engaging and converting intention to buy into sales.
What you'll do:
- Provide input into the creation, within the Wholesale Channel, to omni-channel strategic plan driving the implementation of the activities defined together with Brand and GTM functions and aligned with adidas Europe.
- Design and coordinate the execution of Account Marketing Plans for selected accounts including support presentation materials for/with Sales Teams and DPC / DS.
Within account marketing plans define the strategy, the activation levers and investments needed to maximize results and the best execution.
- Guarantee the In Store Communication implementation, both for Brand Campaigns and always on tools, aligned to defined communication toolkits including the coordination of VM input and guidelines.
- Monitor and implement space management business through sell out data, providing feedback and reco to sales and setting related actions to gain market share and better consumer journey.
- Implement and evaluate digital, social, media activities and CRM initiatives to support the Accounts into different funnel and according to guidelines and threshold. Use social media monitoring tools to report on metrics while finding new ways to improve awareness/engagement/conversion.
- Create and execute the initiatives in line with brand guidelines, coordinating campaigns and product-focused messaging in partnership with local Brand Team including: Media, SpoMa and CM.
- Brief and supervise the development of adidas creative and contents for Accounts from online to offline applications ensuring consistent communication in line with Company standards and brand guidelines.
- Develop consumer and staff special activation and or events to engage the target, allowing to experience the Brand and products to drive business.
- Manage and monitor assigned budget (Capex and Opex), in line with guidelines and in full respect of internal NTP procedures and Finance process. Handle the approval’s process and the correct use of the Capex budget, collaborating with the Finance Department.
- Guarantee the suppliers management to ensure cost efficiency and balance cost/quality.
- Promote a high performance culture by setting clear expectations and individual goals. Translate the company goals into Team specific actions and business plans. Control and monitor performance and results.
Skills you'll need:
- Experience in trade / brand marketing and/or sales (preferably in wholesale and in the sporting goods industry)
- Project management experience
- Good level of digital funnel and levers to influence parameters
- Advanced user of MS Office suite of products
- Good negotiation skills/ relationship building
- Strong commitment and accountability, problem solving & flexible attitude
Main requirements:
- 5+ years' experience leading marketing and communication initiatives to create consumer engagement and demand
- Skill and strategic ability on creating consistent consumer journey within accounts’ channels including digital and social media landscape and its metrics and around the consumer activation and events
- Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication skills; verbal and written
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Knowledge of legal protocol around social contests and ability to partner with company legal team on such details
- Deadline and budget-oriented
