Senior Manager, Key Accounts - Luxury Fashion (LTD)

As Senior Manager, Key Accounts - Luxury Fashion (LTD), you will lead the commercial relationship with assigned Luxury Fashion Channel strategic accounts across North America. You will own net sales performance, orderbook building and conversion, account planning, commercial agreements, and sell-out activation. The role is responsible for identifying key business and growth drivers and translating them into account strategies that strengthen market share, profitability, and long-term customer relationships.
Working closely with Luxury Fashion Sales, cluster fashion sales teams, Key City teams, Account Marketing, Sales Development, Customer Service, Credit Management, Finance, market teams, and relevant global business units, you will ensure a consistent One adidas approach across assigned accounts. You will also serve as an ambassador for strategic customers, connecting internal and external stakeholders and sharing best practices across Luxury Fashion markets.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This is a Limited Duration position anticipated to continue through June 25, 2027.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Account Ownership: Own the net sales budget for assigned Luxury Fashion strategic accounts and drive orderbook building, conversion, and achievement of commercial objectives.
• Sales Management: Manage the full sales process from product previews through sell-out across assigned accounts.
• Account Strategy: Develop strategic account plans in collaboration with the line manager and customer, identifying key business and growth drivers that expand market share and strengthen profitable relationships.
• Commercial Management: Lead commercial discussions and agreements with assigned accounts, including applicable trade terms and commercial investment frameworks.
• Sell-Out Activation: Develop and execute formalized Account Marketing Plans in partnership with Account Marketing and the line manager to drive sell-out.
• Inventory Performance: Monitor sell-out and stock-in-trade performance and take action to support replenishment and accelerate sell-through.
• Business Performance: Monitor, analyze, and report assigned account performance against key business KPIs, including orderbook health, net sales, operating margin, and market share.
• Luxury Fashion Collaboration: Drive communication and collaboration between Luxury Fashion Sales and market teams to support aligned account strategies, reporting tools, playbooks, and execution.
• Stakeholder Leadership: Act as an ambassador for assigned accounts and manage relationships across internal teams, customers, and key external stakeholders.
• One adidas Execution: Partner closely with cluster sales teams to deliver an aligned One adidas approach across assigned strategic accounts.
• Best Practice Development: Gather and share best practices across Luxury Fashion markets and collaborate with Sales Development to translate insights into effective sales tools and resources.
• Executive Communication: Develop and deliver presentations for strategic projects while coordinating core team communication, senior management updates, and key milestone meetings.
• Functional Expertise: Represent the Luxury Fashion account business and provide commercial expertise in relevant leadership, market, and go-to-market forums.
• Budget Management: Manage the individual travel and expense budget responsibly and in accordance with applicable adidas policies.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in business administration with a focus on sales, marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of overall business experience.
• Minimum 2 years of functional sales experience.
• Proven track record of success in sales or key account management.
• Strong commercial and business acumen with the ability to translate business performance into actionable account strategies.
• Strong communication, negotiation, relationship management, and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated business planning and strategic development capabilities.
• Broad functional understanding across sales, customer service, finance, IT, and related business functions.
• Ability to work effectively across functions, markets, and organizational levels.
• High degree of adaptability, initiative, ownership, and determination.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
• Sales or key account management experience within the fashion industry.
• Experience within sporting goods, retail, or consumer goods environments.
• Cross-functional experience working with marketing, sales, finance, or related commercial teams.
• Extensive knowledge of the adidas business and relevant industry dynamics.
• Experience managing strategic or high-value wholesale accounts.
• Additional language capabilities.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position follows the adidas hybrid work model and is based in New York, New York. Office attendance is required Monday through Thursday, with flexibility to work remotely on Friday. In-office attendance may also be required on Fridays when the work requires a high degree of collaboration or an in-person presentation. The role operates in a fast-paced, highly collaborative commercial environment with regular interaction across customers, markets, and cross-functional teams. Travel may be required based on account and business needs.
REPORTING STRUCTURE
This role reports directly to the Director Sales and sits within Luxury Fashion Sales for North America. The position does not have direct personnel management responsibility and works extensively across Luxury Fashion, cluster fashion sales teams, Key City teams, Account Marketing, Sales Development, Customer Service, Credit Management, Finance, market teams, and relevant global business units. The role also maintains direct relationships with buyers and stakeholders across assigned strategic accounts.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
The anticipated low and high end of the base pay range for this position is $130,130 - $155,243.
Actual salary will be based on various factors, such as a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills and competencies, and proficiency for the role.
