Purpose 

Manage; sell to, support and service the account base in a specific geographic territory.

  • Must have clear and knowledgeable experience of the grassroots youth club and brand competitor sports landscape.
  • Co-lead strategy and commercial delivery to achieve the sales targets set by sales leadership.
  • Establish yourself as the lead teamwear sales representative for Soccer.com. Critical responsibilities include building strong working relationships across the account department teams of leadership, merchandising, marketing, events, and sales.  
  • Ability to effectively apply full ownership of prospecting and serving existing Tier 1 and 2 club brand partners, including but not restricted to contract negotiation stages, product demonstrations, forecasting, and business development activities. Experience with sports seasonality and buy cycles is critical to success.
  • Prospect Tier 2 club partners via acquisition planning utilizing a playbook of benefits and service model deliverables while maintaining profitability-led outcomes.
  • Serve as a co-lead point of sales contact for large leagues, governing bodies, and influential sports partners on a national scale.
  • Manage strong working relationships with all internal business partners across product marketing, trade marketing, account operations, and sports marketing to drive teamwear category performance.  
  • Must exhibit the capacity to use strategic and critical thinking abilities, including problem-solving, to advance the business.
  • Experience working with external agencies for event planning and execution is strongly encouraged.

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and a minimum one year of related experience and/or training, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Athletic industry experience preferred.
  • Regional sales experience preferred.
  • For Specialty sales positions, specific knowledge of, or experience with the specialty focus is preferred. This includes knowledge of athletic product lines, industry standards and trends in the market place.
