Director Brand Partners
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
Plan, nurture, and manage an adequate Culture Marketing and Sports Marketing portfolio of individual athletes, partners, clubs and associations supporting brand and category objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leads the partnership: Culture Marketing and Sports Marketing plans in alignment with the Global Partnership strategy including activation and rights, to deliver the brand KPI´s
- Manage and allocate Marketing Expenses for LAM and across countries in conjunction with the Brand Activation team, finance, global and BU heads to deliver the brand strategy
- Drive Global Brand Strategy execution in partnership in LAM teams to ensure correct execution in countries
- Influence and input on overall marketing plans and calendar to maximize portfolio impact and planning relevant ´moments of sports´ to maximize engagement of consumers with the adidas brand
- Lead consumer-centric and service-based partnership marketing culture and capability to make adidas the brand of choice for the best partners in LAM.
- Create a compliance culture in partnerships across Culture Marketing and Sports Marketing to ensure that all negotiations with partners are conducted with the highest standards in terms of compliance
- Secure all contracts are updated and accurate in the internal system to ensure full visibility of LAM partnerships.
- Influence Global portfolio planning to ensure that LAM opportunities and key needs are being met
- Influence high profile contract negotiations by providing expert negotiation advice and benchmarking insights to ensure the right partners are being secured for adidas at an optimum price.
- Work in partnership with countries to secure that the activation of full set of rights of LAM partners (through digital, social media, appearances etc..) to maximize consumer impacts and return of investments.
People Management
Provide leadership and set performance plans for direct reports
- Offer coaching and feedback, fostering a high level of teamwork across departments both hub and cluster.
- Manage talent development within the partnership team across both hub and cluster.
- Oversee ELS action plans for the team and departmental goals.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
10 years experience
