Manager DTC Marketing

 

Purpose:

To ensure the positive development of adidas brand image, sustainable and profitable business through adequate “DTC” Marketing planning and execution at the Point of Sales (POS) and linked with CC/APP execution.  Define, Manage, and Implement all aspects of best-practice trade in expertise and people management.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Calendar Management for channel planning and ensuring the execution within countries.

 

  • Align with the Regional DTC & WHS Organization on a seasonal base in marketing strategy and plans for the channel.

 

  • Develop and steer the implementation of integrated marketing packages for channel-specific needs. through brand marketing activities.

 

  • Support Omnichannel marketing plans to all key players internally and externally.

 

  • Be a key role in seasonal planning giving the channel full visibility of the seasonal planning and the tools that will be used to accomplish the targets.

 

  • Review channels KPIs vs implementations of DTC MKT and some WHS initiatives.

 

  • Key contact person for Retail to ensure alignment and best usage of resources.

 

  • Support allocation process and efficiency tracking of exclusive range offers.

 

  • Coordinate Marketing tasks of space management initiatives.

 

  • Balance brand and category message against channel specific requirements.

 

  • Ensure brand presence (global footprint) and sell-through at POS by connecting strategic account/channel plans with adidas Brand Marketing objectives.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

 

  • Proven ability to develop and deliver toolkits and assets across diverse Retail formats and channels.
  • Strong understanding of brand consistency, Retail environments, and consumer touchpoints.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple campaigns and deadlines.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across regional and global teams.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing and developing high-performing teams.

 

Requisite Education and Experience:

 

  • University Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in Brand Activation, Retail Marketing, or Omnichannel campaign execution.
  • Fluent English; verbal and written.
  • Excel- Advanced level
  • Intermediate level Power BI proficiency
  • Experience managing cross-functional collaboration with Creative, Digital, and Commercial Teams.
