Manager Events

PURPOSE

  • Lead the planning and end-to-end production of Go-To-Market events across LAM, delivering high-quality, brand-right experiences that support seasonal commercial milestones, ensure GTM strategies and, reflect adidas’ corporate and brand standards.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Lead the end-to-end production of regional Go-To-Market events, including showrooms, trade fairs, exhibitions, etc., from concept development and planning to on-site execution and post-event follow-up.
  • Act as the main point of contact for event agencies and production partners, ensuring creative development, technical production, logistics, timelines and final delivery are executed in line with adidas guidelines and quality expectations.
  • Ensure that all planned and executed events are fully aligned with the GTM strategy, highlighting GTM priorities, and working closely with the Sr. Manager of GTM to maintain strategic consistency
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across Marketing Ops and across key partners, including Channel Leads, BUs, Brand Activation, and global counterparts to ensure clear decisions, operational consistency, and flawless execution.
  • Manage project budgets, forecasting, and cost control, ensuring efficient resource allocation, competitive agency pricing, and full financial transparency throughout the process, while overseeing all operational tasks associated with budget management.
  • Ensure strong planning discipline, clear communication and agile problem-solving across multiple projects, maintaining high production standards in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Strong event production expertise, including planning, run-of-show development, agency coordination, technical production and on-site execution of complex events.
  • Solid understanding of agency management and production workflows, with the ability to brief, guide and challenge partners to deliver within brand, budget and timeline expectations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and a strong corporate mindset, with the ability to work effectively across functions, markets and global teams.
  • Strong project management capabilities, including the ability to structure work, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • High emotional intelligence, adaptability, and resilience, with the ability to navigate changing priorities and demanding event environments in a constructive and solution-oriented way.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, enabling alignment, collaboration and decision-making across diverse and multicultural teams.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • University degree or equivalent education.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in project management, ideally within Markets, Brand, Commercial or a Business Unit environment.
  • Proven experience in cross-functional project management and budget control within complex, matrix organizations.
  • Experience in event production, agency management, or Go-To-Market processes is highly valued.
