Manager HR Strategy & DEI

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

Act as a PMO lead for strategic HR and DEI projects, coordinating efforts across HR functions, and business stakeholders to translate strategy into measurable outcomes. Integrate diversity and inclusion as one of the D&I subject matter experts within the market LAM to foster an inclusive culture and deliver sustainable organizational impact.

Drive the execution and governance of the LAM HR Strategy through program management, KPI tracking, communications, and stakeholder engagement to ensure successful implementation of HR LAM priorities. Support the development and execution of the Market DEI strategy, messaging, and programs in alignment with LAM HR strategy, and the Global Diversity Team.

Key Responsibilities 

DEI Expert/PMO:

  • Develop, support and manage key strategic initiatives/projects/programs, from planning to execution, across the LAM organization.
  • Develop and lead the project/program team to fulfil its mission and targets
  • Provide objective perspective on progress, priorities and directions while managing expectations
  • Think nationally and x-functionally to support program scope, dependencies, and key partners to scale initiatives regionally. 
  • Support in driving partnerships and alignment of internal and external programs and campaigns focused on an inclusive culture and championing diversity.
  • Support diversity activities in the market, bringing together business units, HR, employee resource groups, leadership, and others to tell a holistic and unified story and activations
  • Liaise and collaborate with the global diversity team to bring the global diversity vision to life in the market, creating synergies around initiatives, events and trainings

Strategy Execution:

  • Lead the governance, planning, and execution of strategic HR initiatives across LAM.
  • Develop and maintain HR Strategy roadmaps, implementation plans, milestones, and timelines.
  • Coordinate strategic priorities across HR functions and business areas to ensure alignment and execution.
  • Manage PMO processes, tools, templates, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and dependencies, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Steer alignment with CoE Directors and Market Lead to ensure projects are focused on the right strategic initiatives and priorities.
  • Track strategic initiatives against agreed KPIs and recommend corrective actions where required.
  • Develop executive-ready presentations, reports, and updates for senior leadership teams.

  • Ability to partner with Global D&I and integrate diversity and inclusion within the market with the ability to move fast, navigate ambiguity, and collectively make an impact.
  • Project management skills & ability to coordinate cross-functional project teams from concept to implementation, ideally on a national scale
  • A team-oriented and diversity and inclusion practitioner with demonstrated ability to support the execution of programs
  • Ability to excel in both strategic and tactical thinking & executing
  • Customer/Consumer focus, end-to-end thinker

 Requisite Education and Experience:

  • A relevant degree from an accredited college or university
  • Experienced in Project management, preferably managing regional and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience working with DEI and helping embed inclusion programs into the fabric of the culture.
