SENIOR MANAGER MERCHANDISING PLANNING 
Temporary Assignement from November 2026 to June 2027 approx. 

 

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization

We are looking for a highly analytical and commercially minded Senior Manager Merchandising Planning to join our Latin America Merchandising team on a temporary assignment.

In this role, you will lead the planning and optimization of category ranges across multiple markets in the region, helping drive clarity, efficiency, and profitability through data-driven decision making. Working closely with Business Units, Country Trade Teams, Marketing Operations, and channel stakeholders, you will influence key assortment, pricing, and portfolio decisions across the seasonal Go-To-Market process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and optimize seasonal range size, structure, and article allocation across assigned categories.
  • Partner with Business Units and country teams to ensure alignment on assortment strategies, market priorities, consumer demand, and seasonal opportunities.
  • Drive data-led recommendations using sell-out, inventory, profitability, order book, and conversion insights.
  • Support pricing architecture and pricing pyramid implementation across markets.
  • Assess range efficiency, article productivity, overlap, and category growth opportunities.
  • Lead planning and analysis at critical Go-To-Market milestones, from pre-season preparation through final profitability reviews.
  • Build and maintain dashboards, reporting tools, and data ecosystems that enable better merchandising and business decisions.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders across the region.
  • Support range evolution initiatives, seasonal updates, and business opportunities throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Act as a key influencer across cross-functional teams without direct ownership of commercial decisions.

Requisite Qualifications 
Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in Merchandising, Assortment Planning, Category Management, Commercial Planning, Sales Planning, or related functions.
  • Proven experience working with large datasets and transforming complex information into actionable business recommendations.
  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders within a matrix organization.
  • Exposure to regional or multi-market business environments is highly valued.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to influence decisions through facts, insights, and strategic recommendations.
  • Structured, organized, and process-oriented approach to work.
  • Strong project management mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Excel, and data visualization tools.
  • Experience working with data platforms and automation solutions is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Databricks or advanced analytics environments is considered a plus.
  • Passion for sports and understanding of the Football category is highly appreciated.
  • Fluent business English and Spanish required. 

 

Please note: This position is offered under a local fixed-term employment contract, from November 2026 to June 2027 approx. Applicants must have valid local work authorization in place, as relocation and visa sponsorship are not available for this opportunity.
