Regional HR Business Partner – Latin America (LAM)

Purpose
The Regional HR Business Partner (HRBP) for Latin America serves as a strategic people partner across the region. This role provides direct HR business partnership to the Panama-based organization while shaping, influencing, and driving an integrated people agenda across Latin America.
Working closely with regional and country leaders, Country HR Business Partners, and HR Centers of Excellence, the HRBP connects business priorities with talent, workforce, and organizational strategies. The role ensures regional alignment while respecting local market ownership and execution responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Business Partnership
- Act as a strategic HR Business Partner, providing guidance and support across the full employee lifecycle.
- Partner with regional leadership teams to translate business objectives into a clear people and organizational strategy.
- Collaborate closely with Country HR Business Partners to drive consistency, alignment, and execution of key people initiatives across Latin America.
- Connect global, regional, and local HR priorities to support organizational growth, transformation, and business performance.
- Provide thought leadership and insights on workforce trends, organizational effectiveness, and talent implications impacting the business.
Talent, Leadership & Organization
- Lead talent reviews and succession planning discussions, strengthening leadership pipelines for critical roles and increasing talent visibility and mobility across markets.
- Identify future leadership and organizational capability requirements and translate them into targeted development priorities and experiences.
- Coach leaders on leadership effectiveness, team performance, employee engagement, talent development, and the quality of performance and feedback conversations.
- Partner with leaders to build high-performing and inclusive teams that foster collaboration, innovation, and business results.
- Support organizational design and transformation initiatives, including organizational structures, roles, accountabilities, capabilities, and new ways of working.
Workforce Planning & People Insights
- Lead workforce planning efforts, anticipating future organizational needs, talent risks, and capability gaps.
- Utilize business scenarios, workforce analytics, and organizational insights to challenge assumptions and provide actionable recommendations to leadership teams.
- Monitor and evaluate key people metrics and organizational health indicators to support data-driven decision-making.
- Track critical people priorities, agreed actions, and organizational initiatives, ensuring accountability and follow-through across the organization.
- Partner with HR specialist teams to design and implement solutions that address current and future talent needs.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Proven HR Business Partner experience within a regional, multinational, or complex matrix organization.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate business strategy into people and organizational priorities.
- Demonstrated expertise in talent management, succession planning, workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, and leadership development.
- Strong consulting, influencing, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to challenge and advise senior leaders effectively.
- Experience leading organizational transformation and change management initiatives.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and balance regional alignment with local business needs.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to leverage people insights and data to inform decision-making.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building capabilities.
- Strategic and enterprise mindset combined with a pragmatic, execution-focused approach.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- Significant HR Business Partner experience supporting senior leaders in a regional or multinational environment.
- Experience working within matrix organizations and across multiple countries.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.
Preferred
- Master's degree or MBA.
- Experience supporting multinational or regional business functions.
- Experience in talent strategy, organizational design, and workforce transformation initiatives.
