Please note, there are two (2) roles available for this requisition; one in Los Angeles, CA and one in Portland, OR. Candidates who apply for this role may end up in either of these teams.

 

Team 1: Graphic Design – NCAA (Creation Center Portland) 

The CCP team specializes exclusively in graphics, mainly focusing on NCAA-licensed designs and projects. Their work includes locker room graphics for top-tier schools, retail and adidas.com assets, and special programs like NIL athlete requests and Heisman campaigns. They also occasionally create thematic packs for Originals and MLS graphics with distinct consumer-driven styles. Interns contribute through trend research, storytelling, ideation, and production using Adobe tools, delivering creative concepts aligned with brand direction.

 

Team 2: Graphic Design – Originals (Los Angeles)

This team drives the creation of men’s apparel graphics for the adidas Originals range, aiming to strengthen the brand’s presence in North America. They collaborate closely with Product Marketing, as well as Inline Men’s Apparel Design, Development, and Pattern Making. Work spans research, design, presentation decks, and tech pack creation, supporting both creative direction and production problem-solving to deliver trend-driven, brand-aligned graphics.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Develop creative solutions to individual products.
  • Contribute visual inspiration and mood boards during concept phases.
  • Work with the creative process and execute towards given targets and defined design languages and strategies. 
  • Execute design work according to the visual language of adidas as well as given Corporate Identity guidelines according to legal guidance.
  • Verbally present product ideas and details with clarity in small groups and team meetings
  • Support an efficient process and communication flow between design, marketing and development for all issues regarding the ranges and products 
  • Support product management and development in all issues regarding the realization of products and collections.
  • Visualize graphic design ideas for products and ranges with clarity.
  • Creating 3D concept representation, 3D assets, digital product information for an accurate development and decision-making process
  • Support senior designers with artwork execution on product including but not limited to T-shirts, fleece, and seasonal collections.
  • Resize and adapt existing graphics across genders, channels, and product types.
  • Prep production-ready artwork files and help build tech packs.
  • Help organize seasonal files, references, and templates.

  • Strong familiarity and use of design software/systems (Photoshop, Illustrator, MacOs)
  • Creative thinker with a problem-solving mindset—proactive and resourceful.
  • Strong eye for design, with attention to detail and an interest in the understanding of North American trends.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and remain highly organized

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program at a College/University
  • Anticipated graduation date is between December 2026 and August 2027
  • Eligible to work in the US without restrictions.
  • Available to participate in our 12-week full-time internship program from May/June to August/September 2026

In early 2024, we began the three chapter journey into the future, centered on our new brand campaign, You Got This. "You Got This" is designed to motivate everyone to overcome pressure and realize their personal potential.

  • The base pay in Los Angeles for this position is $32/hour. Portland base pay will be shared at the time of hire.
