Please note, there are four (4) roles available for this requisition; all located in the North America HQ in Portland, OR.
Candidates who apply to this role may end up in either of these teams.
Team 1: Account Management (Wholesale & Team Services/NCAA)
The NAM SCM Account Management team builds on partnerships with our key Wholesale and Team Services partners, to enable best in class order fulfillment and execution of supply. This internship will focus on maximizing on-time delivery to our key NCAA partners and licensees as we gear up for the fall sports seasons.
Team 2: Reporting & Analytics
The NAM SCM Reporting and Analytics team strives to connect people and data to facilitate making the best decisions for the NAM Supply Chain. We also aim to drive consistency, simplification, and automation across our reporting/data landscape. This internship will focus on collaborating with several of our SCM partners and creating new reports and enhancing existing ones.
Team 3: Product Supply
The North American Product Supply (NAM PS) team ensures that 200M units annually are purchased, manufactured and managed into the market on time to meet the needs of adidas customers and consumers. The PS interface team identifies gaps in the demand and supply mapping and works cross functionally to resolve issues and get product on time into the market.
Team 4: Supply Planning
Supply planning plays a key role in ensuring the alignment of article lead times and readiness prior to customer booking deadlines This involves coordination between several teams including Account Management, BU’s, Demand Planning, Sales, and Supply Chain to identify gaps, then plan and execute proactive feasibility and readiness actions prior to customer booking deadlines.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Play a crucial role in executing and delivering supply chain priorities across North America, including transportation from factories to distribution centers, fulfillment of sales orders, and outbound/last-mile delivery to customers.
- Partner with project managers and functional teams to support daily operations such as meeting management, analysis, presentations, training, and assessments.
- Create and maintain project documentation for analysis, process definition, project status updates, and training. Proactively suggest improvement opportunities.
- Assist with measuring and monitoring external partners’ KPIs. Ensure vendors are meeting/exceeding their targeted SLAs.
- Develop action plans to address service failures with vendors (e.g., claims processing, high-risk lane assessments, allocation adjustment proposals).
- Plan and facilitate cross-functional workshops and meetings to drive stakeholder alignment, pitch ideas, and secure buy-in for proposed solutions.
- Contribute to a culture of ownership, motivation, and proactive problem-solving within the team.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Solution-oriented mindset with perseverance in overcoming challenges.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to pitch ideas and secure cross-functional buy-in.
- Clear, succinct communication and storytelling across written, verbal, and visual formats.
- Demonstrated ownership of tasks with motivation, proactivity, and fast learning in dynamic environments.
- Proven ability to collaborate as a strong team player while contributing independently when needed.
- Basic MS Office skills (PowerPoint and Excel) and ability to learn and use Project Management tools (SmartSheet, ThinkCell excel plug-in).
- Basic reporting and analytic skills, with Intermediate knowledge of PowerBi and SQL skills preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program at a College/University.
- Anticipated graduation date is between December 2026 and August 2027.
- Eligible to work in the US without restrictions.
- Available to participate in our 12-week full-time internship program from May/June to August/September 2026
