Analyst - Business Process Management - Inbound Supply Chain (Limited Time Duration

Purpose

Support the evaluation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of Inbound NAM business processes by analyzing current workflows, supporting implemented changes, and assisting with updates to documentation, reporting, and process standards. The role contributes to ensuring Inbound processes are efficient, effective, standardized, and aligned with business goals, under the guidance of Inbound BPM leadership.

 

Key Responsibilities

Process Analysis & Support

  • Support the ongoing evaluation of Inbound NAM business processes to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Assist with documenting current-state and future-state workflows, SOPs, and process standards.
  • Support analysis of implemented process changes to validate outcomes and identify gaps.
  • Collect, synthesize, and organize stakeholder feedback related to inbound processes.
  • Escalate identified risks, inefficiencies, or deviations from standard processes.

Reporting & Metrics Enablement

  • Support inbound metrics and dashboards by validating data inputs and highlighting processes that are not achieving expected results.
  • Assist in preparing materials for BPM process reviews, performance discussions, and reporting forums.
  • Help ensure process documentation and reporting inputs remain accurate, complete, and up to date.

Project & Initiative Support

  • Support process improvement initiatives and BPM projects by gathering requirements, organizing inputs, and tracking action items.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to support process evaluations from multiple perspectives.
  • Assist with preparation of summaries, reference materials, and communications related to process updates.

Standardization & Continuous Improvement

  • Support process standardization efforts across NAM in coordination with Global Logistics and Global IT.
  • Maintain awareness of supply chain and inbound process best practices to support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support consistent communication of process changes to ensure stakeholder understanding and adoption.

  • NAM SCM Functions (including Product Supply, Inbound Transportation, Inbound Origin & Destination, Direct Shipment, Account Operations, Fulfillment Planning, WHS/DTC Excellency, WHS Operations, Deployment, Data & Analytics, and DC Operations)

  • Global IT / DNA
  • 3PLs and Carriers (process and data coordination support)

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Experience working in supply chain, logistics, or related functional teams
  • Strong analytical and process-oriented mindset
  • Ability to document workflows and translate business requirements into structured process artifacts
  • Basic operational and project coordination skills
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
  • Ability to manage deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and continuous-improvement focused
  • At adidas we offer a Hybrid Work Policy which requires attendance in the office Monday through Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Friday each week. For work requiring a high degree of collaboration or an in-person presentation, office attendance is required even on Friday.

     

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications

  • College degree or equivalent, preferably with a focus in supply chain, business, or related field; or equivalent practical experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, process, or analytical roles
  • Exposure to ERP/WMS systems (preferably SAP)
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Power BI skills
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Experience with SQL, R, and DAX preferred
  • Fluent in English (oral and written)
