Assistant Designer - Footwear
PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE TO THE ORGANIZATION
Supporting the design team as part of an international team in collaboration with marketing and development to design market-driven products for the adidas brand.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Executing the creative vision in a product range for the following categories:
- Development of creative solutions for individual products.
- Work with the creative process and execution of given goals and defined design languages and strategies.
- Execution of design work in accordance with adidas' visual language and given corporate identity guidelines regarding the legal guidelines.
- Presenting product ideas and details in small groups and team meetings
- Supporting the efficient process and communication flow between design, marketing and development for all issues related to the areas and products.
- Support of product management and development in all matters related to the realization of products and collections.
- Visualization of ideas for products and ranges.
- Create 3D concept representations, 3D assets, and digital product information for an accurate development and decision-making process

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Knowledge of fashion products and fashion designs / industrial products or industrial designs
- Good communication and presentation skills
- High creativity
- Passion for design
- Knowledge of using Macintosh computer design software/systems (Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Strong 3D knowledge and experience with virtual tools
- Apparel: tools: Clo3D, Browzwear, VStitcher or similar 3D fashion design tools
- Footwear tools: Rhino, Modo, ICAD Pro, or similar 3D fashion design tools
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE / MINIMUM REQUIREMENT
- Diploma, BA or MA from a college or university, major in design
- Preferably practical experience in a design environment
