Assistant Manager, Sales Strategy & Execution

Purpose:  This is a key internal-facing role that supports the preparation and delivery of strategic projects across the Wholesale Channel providing timely and quality support to key initiatives, while focusing on the various expectations and requirements across teams/stakeholders.

 

Key Accountabilities:

Project Management

  • Support the delivery of assigned workstreams, projects and plans ensuring clear deliverables, timelines and outcomes.
  • Effectively coordinating cross functional interactions or touchpoints needed to complete a project/plan including scheduling meetings.
  • Translate data and insights into actionable recommendations to improve project outcomes and inform decision making.

Tracking and Reporting

  • Manage monthly reporting that support the Sales Execution function.
  • Support the documentation of projects/programs ensuring project documents are approved, completed, maintained, and stored appropriately including taking notes in meeting, compiling actions items, etc.
  • This person will be responsible for tracking Go-To-Market calendar changes from Brand partners, assessing the impact to Sales and communicating to Sales Execution team.
  • Owner/manager of Sales Execution SharePoint’s, including calendar management and point person to collaborate with North America Channel SharePoint.

 

Communication/Administrative

  • Use appropriate and effective communication methods to update Senior Management on how we are tracking against projects/plans via PowerPoint presentations, project tracking, email communication, etc.
  • Support the preparation of key presentations for internal and external audiences.
  • Support organizing events, managing itineraries, booking/scheduling and coordinating with cross functional partners to execute workshops, external facing meetings or leadership meetings with participants across time zones.
  • Note taking, documentation and action item tracking. Handle confidential data and update distribution lists.  

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience managing projects and stakeholders
  • Good communication (both written and verbal) and facilitation skills (small and large groups) especially when interacting with different levels of business
  • Ability to travel, domestic or international, as required
  • Fluent English (verbal and written)
  • Strong MS-Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint), proficient in PowerPoint a must.

 

Qualifications:

  • Four-year college or university degree with focus on Business Administration, or related areas, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of progressive work experience in mid to large scale project or program management, consulting or strategy
  • MBA/PMP certified desirable
